https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa9cfqzKcmsSomething about pianists makes me want to beat people. Yeah, they're "percussionists" but that's a dirty word to them. They can fuck off in my book, fucking keyboard mashing fuck-wits.

Got tickets for Black Sabbath next week. But I'm a bit worried about making it because they're all elderly and it seems celebrities are dying like mad lately...

Disney Monster Hits - Sweet Dreams – 02:05
— NeonRooster83Sure, FMV is super easy to do now-- but those DTV videos were put together in the 80s. I can't even imagine the amount of labor that went into finding and editing all those clips, without a digital, categorized database.

You mean full-motion video? Like... Dragon's Lair?

Disney has enough crazy fans that they can find a human brain that contains a categorized database
-
The 80's? Disney Corporation? They probably did have a digital categorized database.
-
Maybe the guy did a really really shitty job of finding dreaming clips, and there's a thousand better ones he never saw. DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT THAT?

Fan Music Videos. Clips of shows timed to a music video.
Like... Dragon's Lair?
No.

This is the 80s. DTV was something done in-house.
The 80's? Disney Corporation? They probably did have a digital categorized database.
Hmm. That'd be interesting to know.
Maybe the guy did a really really shitty job of finding dreaming clips, and there's a thousand better ones he never saw. DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT THAT?
It's possible, but I disagree with "shitty job". The whole 30 minute special is exceptionally well done, and the clips fit perfectly. Maybe it could be better, but it isn't shitty.

Back when I first got a cell phone that did MP3s, I assigned the main Terra motif from this:
OC ReMix #206: Final Fantasy VI 'Terra in Black' [Terra] by Ailsean – 04:10
— OverClocked ReMix: Video Game Music Community
To my girlfriend's ring.To this day I still use it for that purpose.

I have no idea why I wanted to have this here now, or why this particular version, but WTH:

Yeah, I know that the original title was 'No Man's Land', but a lot of covers (like this one) call it either 'Green Fields of France' or 'Willie McBride'. and since Eric Bogle himself doesn't seem to have minded, I guess it's not a big deal.

On this date, 260 years ago, 27 January 1756, was born one of the greatest — many would say the greatest — musical geniuses of human history: Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus (better known as Wolfgang Amadeus) Mozart. In honor of this occasion, here is his Concerto for Flute and Harp in C, K. 299. Some say the second movement of this piece is the music one will hear upon one's arrival in heaven. This performance features Philippe Boucly, flute; Isabelle Moretty, harp; and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Neville Marriner, conductor.
