Discourse DMZ

For someone who purports to hate open source, you sure seem to be helping a lot.
I think you have me confused with someone else.
-
Tomorrow I plan to check for duplicate topics on meta and see how many were reported there (and possibly closed?).
Why not use an actual bug tracker? Forums are not bug trackers.

Hey we'll even set one up for you. DiscourseBugs.com
(Apparently it'll be a few hours until it is filled out with the issues we're aware of. Work in progress.)

Conversely, bug trackers and not forums either.
-
So what, this is now like a megathread where TDWTF metaguys and discodevs can meet in relative peace? Like that room on the border of North and South Korea?
-
Fixed topic title for you.
-
I saw that movie, the cylons shot everyone.
-
Can anyone add bugs in that repo?
I might want to insert a bug I created on Meta.d, unless you could insert it...EDIT: Oh, seems it's actually @Matches ' project.
-
My repo should have anonymous issue reporting, Yes. You should be able to use your bit bucket account, but it will associate your name if you do.
-
Matches will probably get the "likes/any UI action closes other expanded parts of posts" bug into his tracker from bug reports here... I swear that I've reported it at least 4 times myself (though usually just inlined into whatever topic I'm in when the bug screws me over.)
-
Couldn't find it on Meta-D, strange enough.

This thread.

Huzzah! Welcome back! Where've you been‽
-
Making a sandwich.
-
I guess you were killing the pig and milking the cows to start the cheese?
-
BTW just wanted to say thanks again for the effort categorizing the bugs. I don't have time to actively participate here but I certainly have time to make sure those are all processed.
-

How does the pig factor in making the cheese?
(Yes, I'm playing catchup on here...)
-
Cheese with bacon bits in it?
If that's not a thing it should be.
-

Ham and cheese sandwich?
(Yes, I'm playing catchup on here...)
Ketchup is good, but I think not on a ham and cheese sandwich.
-
Ham and cheese sandwich?
I was being obtuse.
Ketchup is good
Catchup, not catsup...
-
Ketch up not catchup
-
There seems to be a lot of kvetching around here.
-
But why not Zoidberg?
-
How does the pig factor in making the cheese?
It doesn't. I'm assuming a ham sandwich, however. That would be embarrassing without the pig.

But a lobster po'boy<!-- No, @algorythmics, not you. --> is really nice.
How about Lobster Thermidor aux crevettes with a Mornay sauce, garnished with truffle pâté, brandy and a fried egg on top and Spam?
-
Seafood sandwich sounds terrible.
Crabcake sandwich, bro? Soft-shelled crab on a roll?
Bro? Bro'mzilla?

Fish sandwiches can be very good too. (Especially if the fish has been filleted first.)

Crabcakes are sometimes OK. Frankly, I prefer to eat
enslaveddomesticated animals. You never know where the wild ones have been before you put them in your mouth.
-

Yes, fillet first. I hate when they're still flopping around while I'm trying to eat them.

Filleting is distinct from killing the fish: it's about removing the bones (especially the backbone). While I have had a mouthful of fishbones in a sandwich, I'm not keen on repeating the experience.
Though pickling in vinegar can also make things palatable. Then the bones will still be there, but they'll be decalcified and so no problem. (There's a south swedish delicacy involving pickled fried herrings that's rather delicious…)

Fishbones are a real pain, yeah. Those little buggers love to go every-which-a-way and are almost impossible to track down, too. At least you've never considered the idea of catching fish in your mouth...

That's what fingers are for. Wiggle them in the water and wait for a bite…

Nominated for whoosh badge (either that or pedantic dickweed).

Hey, I've seen someone try to catch trout that way. Or maybe the fish caught him. Only once though.
-
But were they evil trout?

Reminds me of Wooldoor Sockbat
-
I don't get it. He catches fish by humping the dock?

Since this is turning into a Funny Stuff Thread #2...

Discourse seems to have stopped notifying me of replies, etc.
Edit to add:
Imagine teeth into legs.
We can do that, too.
