Inb4 "how do you shred emails". She's old, she probably has someone print them out, now they're on paper so they had to be shredded. QED.

Thanks for closing your small tags!
We actually have an AVP that prints almost all her emails. So she can write on them.
I want to introduce her to OneNote, but... :effort:

@Karla so everything except being eaten by a merciless dinosaur is less desirable than making a phone call?
-
-
In other news, a woman complaining of a peeping tom in the bathroom was confused and a rush of teenage boys identifying as women entered the restroom to catch the peek-at-you pokemon.

It is a little hyperbolic but only a little. Especially with cell phones with bad connections. I don't like voice mail.
I try to keep to a minimum the amount I have to actually talk to people. Email and chatting much easier for me.
-
@Karla and yet the image implies that being eaten by a dinosaur > phone calls > everything else
-
@Jaloopa Let me bold the key word: hyperbolic.
-
@Karla hyperbolic doesn't mean wrong. It's saying phone calls are better than almost anything ever, and getting eaten by a dinosaur is even better

Reminds me of something along the lines of:
How many syllables in the following words:
- hyperbole
- coax
- coop
- Bicester
Answers
4 - hy-per-bol-ee
1 - to coax, 2 - co-ax cable
1 - chicken coop, 2 - abbrev for co-operative
2 - 'Bis-ter'

2 - 'Bis-ter'Yeah, I actually have trouble pronouncing some multisyllabic (like this one without thinking about it). Familiarity and metabolism being the worst offenders.
I like the word hyperbolic, and parabolic for that matter.

I see what you mean now.
Can I blame dyslexia? Confirmation bias that the image meant what I thought it meant.
It was posted by something like An Introvert's Life page. I think they probably meant what I thought it meant.
As for the dyslexia, I do sometimes have trouble with reversing complex boolean expressions.

Why?
-
@Karla There are more or less nine thousand reasons.
-
@Magus Got it.
I had to confirm with my husband because I am not into it but I had heard of the 9000 meme.

I know I wasn't!

@Magus
and how about
X^2-Y^2 = 1

@DoctorJones No. At least not from when I had to go there for work.
Before then though, yes.

Boston cities: Worcester, Gloucester, Dorchester. Pronounced "wustuh, glauwstuh, doachestuh".
Oh, and the bonus: Wooster, pronounced "woostuh". But Worcester is "the Woo". Go figure.
