I made something which I consider funny, and since I don't know where the unfunny ideas thread is, I figured I'd put it here.
Ready?

Home schooling makes keeping track of grades so much easier.
Especially if you grade on a curve.

Guy rips the Belgium out of one of those crappy "motivational" posters.

The expression is "Don't Work Hard. Work Smart." Seems to me that haughtily switching to a longer, less-pithy word is symptomatic of the very mentality that would keep you from shaping your cube into a sphere in the first place.
And insisting on the "-ly" is a symptom of an even worse case.

So, the wife and I get Jimmy John's on occasion, and always order the same thing. I get a #9 and she gets a #6. In all the times we have ordered from there, only once has anyone thought far enough ahead to put lines under the numbers due to them looking the exact same if you flip them over.
Not that it matters, a #6 is a veggie sandwich and that should be a fucking crime. Mine is glorious carnivore goodness. We are pretty unlikely to ever mix them up.

#9
#6
Why would you need lines? The # already provides sufficient orientation information.

Because they don't put the octothorpe on them?

You broke my formatting!

No, Discourse broke your formatting.

There are awesome veggie sandwiches. There are also terrible ones. Don't be so fixed in your prejudices…

I like PB&J, too!

I'm more of a fan of hummus and tomato.

And both kinds could be improved by adding some delicious meat.

Sorry, I was raised in a speciesist household and I have trouble recognizing Vegephobia.

A fascinating study on the dental work of democrat candidates. Could there be anything more interesting than that?

I prefer to have that on another sandwich. (Why have one when you can have two different ones?)

Why would you want extra bread? Just stuff it better.

Seems like the polandball guys should be going nuts with this situation.

I'm microagressed that I only got one like for my horrific code that uses delegates instead of methods for everything and secretly adds some of them together. I guess I should have made them self-modifying.

Then someone needs to put them in the thread for my appreciation.

Oh, you mean the drawings.
No, we're just generally going nuts.

Germany has the least responsibility in the clusterfuck Syria and Libya are. You can thank the French and the Americans for that.
-
Haha what? The British get a pass?
Fuck you.
-
Hey, it's alright Blakey, we can take the blame for that one as long as they're fine taking the blame for WW2.

Don't forget, there's also the clusterfuck that is Eritrea. Unusually, that seems to be a problem that nobody else has shoved their fingers in (but then they've got no oil and no major transport links).

I hear Somalia is nice.

-
Well, it's apparently nicer than Eritrea. Not that I plan to visit either any time soon…

OK, I know they meant no eating on the carpet but it also made me think of something else due to slang terms.
