That got me to click thru and start reading...
Garbage collection has become the common way of safe programming
I think by "garbage collection" he means copypasta from SO.

Gotta collect the garbage from somewhere!

@hungrier I copied it from some compilation of funny pictures1 using my phone and I couldn't be bothered to crop it
1 They in turn are stealing it from some other site, it seems, shuffling numbers in the process. Though why that other site uses spelled out numbers as captions is anyone's guess.

@boomzilla What's so hard about pronouncing "twenty-oneth street"?
I kept wanting to say twenty-first because of the "St". (no it's 'th', no it's 'st') I scrolled away to break the recursion.

These numbers aren't actually that ridiculous:
Just weird. Longer at a higher wattage?
-
@dcon This is way easier in Dutch, where if the numbers are written in digits the ordinal suffix is always e.

Do you use ordinal numbers in mathematical formulae often?

It irked me as well. But I guess the person who would charge his phone in the microwave won't be bothered by such discrepancies.

@PleegWat Not sure if you've missed the joke that it looks like a number raised to the Euler number.

From some sort of forum:
I accidentally swallowed a cherry stone. Am I going to die?
First response:
Of course you will, eventually. Cherry stones don't give you immortality.

GTA2
My very first game when I was around 13 I guess right after I got my first PC
First I can remember was moon patrol on an MSX, that I loaded from an audio tape. Took about half an hour to load in memory, IIRC

That's surprisingly readable once you get used to it.
edit: although now that I look at it again, the lack of proper indentation bothers me...

Just don't walk around with it in the open, because it counts as a suspicious item and anyone seeing you carry it will report you to the nearest guard.

I'm not sure if hiding a long-ish tubular object under your coat is going to end any better... Faster, maybe.

"Is that a magic pathway opener or are you just happy to see me?"

@acrow Getting frisked on Professional difficulty will probably have the guards get into a hissy fit and try shooting you on sight. On Normal difficulty they are fine with someone carrying three crowbars, two hammers and a wrench under their suit, though.

I've learned the hard way that lighting a closet with a halogen desk lamp standing in close proximity to plastic suitcases will make those suitcases unusable.
