Variation Selector-16 (Emoji Presentation) Emoji
They should really rename this to "multi-color emoji modifier" or something less vague.

@Tsaukpaetra David Schwimmer is the name of the actor that played Ross in Friends. The man in the picture bears a strong resemblance to him. I assume they were flooded with mails saying it was him.

Ah. I know neither the person or the movie.

I've been spelling it wrong all this time... I can't blame my keyboard on that one.

But there are 16 of them.
That one, IIRC, is reserved by the Unicode standard to mean "Emoji Presentation", so maybe that's more like its proper name.

Also, for anyone who likes Friends, there are some quality comments on the Bookface post.

But aren't those both offensive gestures?
I'm sure any gesture can be offensive if you find the right .

My phone hates being a phone. I basically can't expect to be able to talk to anyone if I answer it. Outgoing calls are usually fine though...
-
@Tsaukpaetra
You know, they make a solution to that problem. Most major phone manufacturers make several new solutions every year, in fact!

Swap that around with my parents. My mother is basically monosyllabic on the phone, whereas my father will merrily talk for hours to anyone and everyone.

@El_Heffe More funny than how my dad pronounces fajitas "Frruh-he-tuhs"...

For me, it just seems to be that T-Mobile hates being a phone company. In any given 24-hour period, I get a signal for maybe 12 hours. 8 of those are while I'm asleep, and the other 4 occur sporadically, a few minutes at a time throughout the day, but never when I need to use the phone.

@HardwareGeek I'm actually about to switch to T-Mobile, as soon as the OnePlus 6T comes out. Do you think this is a regional thing, or is this a T-Mobile problem in general? Because I've never heard my brother say anything, and he's on T-Mobile.

I have only my own experience to go by, and I haven't used this phone much outside this area. I had T-Mobile when I lived in WA, and coverage there seemed spotty, too, but I had a different phone, as well. It seems to be significantly worse here (Silly Valley), and even worse than usual in the last week or two. That may just be confirmation bias, though, because I've had some times that it was unavailable whenever I had an important/urgent need to use it.
Because I've never heard my brother say anything, and he's on T-Mobile.
Being on T-Mobile is probably the reason you've never heard him. :P
