I'm worried about the lady in the background wearing the green shirt.
She was just captured during her Smooth Criminal routine.

I think I can resist listening to a preview.

+1 for the Belgian beer promo

@raceprouk That's the girl who tweets about infosec. I didn't know she sang as well.

I can name one, and now it's playing in my head. I can't seem to shake it off.

@cabrito How does one make that many spelling mistakes in the word "teabagging"?

Try this. I didn't listen just in case I can't shake it off myself.

The Amok Alarm has its own special announcement and there are no drills for those due to the sheer amount of panic even a training drill will create (and announcing that it's a drill is rather pointless in my view).
There was a story recently in France where a school principal decided to stage a training the day before school starts (so only teachers were there), with the help of the local police. One fake attacker roamed the corridors screaming and shooting blanks (or some other noise source, I don't remember). As you can imagine, not many people afterwards thought it was a good idea...

@r10pez10 Reminds me of this old story:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/06/world/europe/06ireland.html?mcubz=3
A Slovak man unwittingly carried hidden explosives on board a weekend flight to Dublin as part of a Slovakian airport-security test that went awry, Irish officials said Tuesday.
The man who carried the explosive did not find out about it until the Irish police, acting on a Slovak tip, raided his apartment in Dublin on Tuesday morning.
The police said they were initially led to believe that the man might be a terrorist, until Slovak authorities admitted that they had planted the explosive.
No information on any hotel minibar bills, though.

We have those in the UK!

@pjh The Slovak gaffe was with actual explosives. There was no detonator but they did actually stuff about 90 grams of RDX into some random guy's luggage and then let him fly halfway across Europe with it.

@hungrier That video is frustrating to watch.
It takes him one full minute of jumping around to figure out that he has to jump from the block nearby. And then another 30 seconds (5 jumps) to actually clear the jump.
It's like watching a simple optimization algorithm trying to figure it out.

Agreed. I was wondering if this was actually just footage of a new AI system learning how to play. You should watch the full video.
I mean, does "Don't touch things that move" mean anything to a player?
-
@anonymous234 Until I saw the video, I thought maybe people talking about it were over-hyping how bad he was at the game.

Is the full video 26 minutes long? I don't know if I could make it through that.

My impression too. Especially after seeing someone actually doing that sort of thing. e.g.:

@benjamin-hall want to play a rousing game of "Spot the vegan"?
That's not hard--it's like a Harvard graduate. They'll tell you when you meet them (with lots of condescension)
Actually, one of my colleagues graduated from Harvard. He was asked in a meeting to say what's special about Harvard. His first response: the arrogance of its graduates
It's funny because of the projection. The guy brings the subject up out of nowhere, and then blames the vegan because he replies.
I found the vegan.
No, actually. But I do admire them (all other things being equal).

@el_heffe naw, a real American would say "hold my beer, I got this" and then take it down with his assault rifle.
Also, that can't be a Walmart... I don't see anyone in pajamas.

Do mods have double vote?
Probably there's a more mundane explanation, because I've seen posts where @boomzilla was both in the upvoters and the downvoters.

Are you sure those were boomzilla alts? Logging on to 14 different accounts just to downvote seems like a lot of work.
