⏱ You know you've been spending too much time on TDWTF when...
-
Fuck Sultan!
-
The Sultanatrix might object.

-
FTFY<really>
I am aware of the correct feminine form of "Sultan." I am also aware of how the TDWTF community (or at least a certain, very prominent member of it) forms the feminine. I used the TDWTF form intentionally.

We have a bunch of these CDs for our toddlers and used to use them in their room at bedtime - how apt. You can do a lot worse if you want lullaby music.
It would get weird when you'd catch yourself singing along to the Nine Inch Nails one.
-
I wonder if anyone else got the reference.
Probably most regulars did. It's only in her long name (unless she changed it since last I looked).
-

I was being pedantic because I am necessarily so. I have no choice. Fidus sum, ergo sum.
-
YKYHBSTMTOWTDWTFW the number
924 suddenly feels special to you.
FTFMI see this so much where I am in the Likes thread that people are starting to blame the notifications deluge on Discourse.

It just falls a little flat because we actually had that discussion some time ago, and started using Sultanatrix because of it.
-
YKYHBSTMTOWTDWTFW if you saw today's Rosie and immediately thought of several threads here.

YKYHBSTMTOWTDWTFW if you saw today's <a href="http://www.xkcd.com/1521/">Rosie</a> and immediately thought of several threads here.
I resemble that remark...
-
Why do you call it "Rosie"?
-
Why do you call it "Rosie"?
On the old forums (and maybe a little here but I doubt it) anytime a xkcd comic was posted it got swapped with a picture of Rosie O'Donnell.
-
Ah, ok thanks. Swapped with no way to get to the actual link? That's harsh.
-
Well by my memory people tended to just do the image. If you posted a plain link it would be left alone, but that is running off my shitty memory.
EDIT: Oh, here is one without the switch and a brief bit of talk about switching:
-
Parp!
-
I agree with whatever Morbs just said!
-
Is it weird that even though I only lurked the old forums, was never a member etc., I have been spending enough time on TDWTF to know the memes and know what's going on?
I guess that's how YKYBSTMTOTDWTFW.
-
I guess same here?
-
To be fair that one didn't get mentioned in the old memes wiki thingy we made here to explain stuff so I should have included an <abbr> tag explaining it.
-
Or there's a 'learn yer own damn memes' 'git orf moi lawn' moment to be had?
-

@todo $bots write a sockbot module to do that and see if @PJH will activate it on shadowmod.

Todo b9ff9e4f, (accalia:bots) write a sockbot module to do that and see if @PJH will activate it on shadowmod.

Discourse blows goats!
And apparently sanitizes RTLs in posts, boo (no, I never tried before).
-
I agree with whatever
MorbsOnyx just said.
-
But a goat would never blow Discourse!
-
What if it's two goats and a PHP forum behind three doors and Jeff lets you two tries?
-
And apparently sanitizes RTLs in posts, boo
I have a half-dozen posts in t/1000 that prove that wronghttp://what.thedailywtf.com/t/the-official-likes-thread/1000/39957?u=raceprouk
-
Well I'm dumb then. Unless Opera fucks it up, CtrlShift U200F
CtrlShiftworks in every other program, but if I try posting here, no dice.
-
Jeff lets you two tries?
At the worst I would hit a goat after the second try, the goat would get so upset with discourse that it would apply his horns to Jeffs crotch in an instant

YKYBSTMTOWTDWTFW you spend ten minutes fighting with Word because you typed "3." and it decided to correct it to "2." and still somehow feel like Discourse is to blame here.
YKYBSTMTOWTDWTFW you find bugs when trying to find the YKYBSTMTOWTDWTFW thread so you can post.
-
Though it did spend 15 seconds popping up and down after I stopped typing.
-
...dafuq?
-
-
I think @Boner typed too fast and got the results for "you know" appearing after the results for "You know you've been spending".
-
Confirmed. Repro'd your steps and got the same results.
-
(a) I think we're slowing down discourse since everyone is now trying to reproduce as well.
(b) I think the apostrophe is messing things up. "you know been spending" finds the thread nicely.

As a QA person, why is your head not exploded yet?

I have a very resistant head. Otherwise I'd not have lasted this long XD

I think the apostrophe is messing things up.
You're right.
Look at the word that is matched by "you've" in those older threads. It doesn't appear in this thread. I'm not typing it so I can preserve the repro.
-
Wow, that was pleasant :)
-
-
-
And I've just found another one
