Status: This is the difference between a perfectly calibrated distance between nozzle and bed and a slightly too high distance.
I'd really appreciate if you gave more context to your posts. My thought process was like this: "Nozzle... Like, the tip of a gun? In bed? Is he talking about some screwed up BDSM? Or maybe it's different kind of nozzle... What kind of nozzle might be in bed? Oh wait, floor tiles. So, probably some distance from the floor to... floor... Bed, as in cement foundation? And nozzle would be... some kind of adhesive? Let's see... Hmm... The tiles look identical... What's this half of car mat doing in the second photo? And in the first there's a piece of rug... Oh, I guess the difference is between the rug and the mat. But what are those? Eh, fuck it. Let's google 'distance between nozzle and bed' and hope to find something - anything. *googles* Oh, 3D printers. Because of course."

I think you're thinking of muzzle, although both can refer to the tip of an implement from which stuff shoots out

@hungrier I'm sure that's not the only wrong word I used in my post. But who cares?

No? Neither do BMW drivers!

That Mercedes that was 6" from my rear bumper (at 50mph) would disagree with you.

I also noted it's unnecessary to have multiple options.
As long as the one option is the acceptable option, which it isn't.

As a rebuttal to your statement that a kid might get bored with just one channel.
"Will", not "might". And since you can't rewatch the same thing over and over on a pre-programmed air channel, you prove my point agian.

As in, "get your chosen single fixed-schedule kids TV program on the internet".
So why did you want me to have a TV in the first place? And is there even a concept of "single fixed-schedule" when you're now watching it on the Internet where it's neither single or fixed schedule?

There's a special place in hell for people who don't turn off mobile notification sounds while they're in public. Especially when they're in, say, a coffee shop. I don't need to hear your goddamn Twitter shitbrained "tweet" sound ever five fucking seconds, you try-hard cuntfart.
That place in hell is one level below the people who leave the keyclick sounds on their phones.
It's one level above people who turn the screen brightness up to max.

I already came up with that one in another thread, but it wasn't in response to you.
It isn't hard to come up with-- unlike how hard I make your mom come every night.

One or two notifications is fine. But once a conversation starts, shut them the fuck off.

@lorne-kates Dude I was on the train yesterday or this morning or something, I don't even remember, it all blends together, and someone's phone was ringing for the entire train ride! With occasional other ringtones over it.

No, I meant, why is your ratio so high?
-
@bb36e Maybe, but this may help
-
@timebandit The train was full of 89759874 people, and the sound was coming from the disabled section.
-
@timebandit I was on a train up north somewhere and these chavvy guys were just playing shite music really loudly and making the whole journey that little bit too gruelling.
When my stop got announced, I stood up got my phone and put on the most obnoxious death metal shit I could find on Spotify. I did this while standing right next to their seat and just started dancing like a twat. They got quite upset as a result and I just said something like "Oh you don't like this ... " and then departed the train pretty quickly because there were 4 of them and 1 of me.
-
@magus said in The Official Status Thread:

I think I have an idea how he/she became disabled
-
@lucas1 I'm really happy we have a quiet section on my train
-
@timebandit It really doesn't make that much difference when there isn't enough carriages and the train rocks around and makes loads of noise anyway.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki1J6JR7kms
EDIT: BTW the high pitched noise is much worse in person.
These carriages are awful to be in and apparently unsafe (according to the BBC article). They shake around a lot and they are soo noisy it is difficult to hear yourself think.
I am so glad I have a driving license now, I rather be stuck in traffic listen to the weather report than suffer that again.
-
@timebandit Our trains only have 'squashed against people's backpacks' sections.

I have it set to auto-stop at 0.01% (the lowest my client can go, apparently) because apparently my data cap goes both ways, and I can't afford that...

Status: Apparently today in Path of Exile, a new beastcrafting recipe was enabled, that was slightly unfair because it was too easy to do. A few people made huge amounts on the ingame economy, and now people are mad.
The whole thread where they say they've temporarily 'disabled' it is people screaming that the league needs to be restarted or rolled back because the economy is now broken. But it would hurt the majority of players far more than it would hurt a couple people who played completely by the rules :/

@dkf What's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine?
With a BMW, the prick's on the inside.
EDIT: wow there's actual research into this: http://www.wsj.com/video/bmw-drivers-really-are-jerks-studies-find/29285015-BB1A-4E41-B0C0-0A41CB990F60.html

@lucas1 I would just like to add. Regarding the Pacer Carriages.
The noise you heard in the vid carried on for the entire journey. So this would be 45 minutes of this. While being rocked around in a seat (if lucky enough to get one).

Hey, if ISPs stop capping me, I'd be MORE than happy to share 300TB of upload per month.
As it stands, I'm limited to a mere 0.962TB and can't spare it without costing $10 for each 50 GB I go over that.

Oh, to be sure there are bad Mercedes drivers (and bad VW drivers, and bad Ford drivers, and bad Toyota drivers, and ...), but few, if any, other makes of car are characterized by the nearly 100% bad driver rate that BMW has.
