It shouldn't be. I still wish it were on RAID 1+0, but, you know, money.

My workstation does not even have an optical drive
I have a USB floppy, USB Blu-Ray (which is down compatible all the way back to CD-ROM!), and USB Zip Drive (just in case). Though, I don't know where the Zip Drive one is at the moment...
No USB floppy. I do have a USB Zip (somewhere). And my USB DVD is a LightScribe unit. (I do have a BluRay internal drive in my desktop - figured WTF, it was pretty cheap)

My mouse does that when I'm using the scroll wheel. Everything's working right. Stop wheeling, move the mouse and suddenly the page scrolls a little more.

USB Floppy, USB Zip Drive (x2 if you count the one with the click of death), USB2 Slim CDRW, USB3 Bluray, and a USBthumb drive that presents as a USB DVDRW and allows you to "burn" discs to it that it will present to the machine as its contents next time you plug it in.
that last one was one of those way over priced but total "geek cred" purchases that i now regret. sure it works, except for some reason for booting....so if i had the ISO mounting it with virtualclonedrive or dameware tools, or if i happened to be in windows 8+, mac or linus, just mounting the damn thing with OS would have been faster and more reliable.

sometyhing like that, except it's in the form factor of a thumb stick and cost about 8 times that..... and is usb2.0.....i deeply regret that purchasing decision

status Updating Visual Studio 2017. Holey Fuck, that's the slowest update I've seen since ... well, can't remember it being so slow. Ever. I forget when I started it, but I think it was about 1.5 hours ago.

What's even funnier about that - they initially released it but the installer blew up. So they had to rollback. This was the updated update.

Will clean later, but for the first time in weeks I have it playing audio! OMG!!!
And now I've got it spitting that audio back to the clients (after re-encoding the wav floats)! And the clients can HEAR IT!
Granted, this makes the bot extremely annoying because it's essentially an echo machine right now (I shudder what will happen if I put two of these echo bots next to each other. Actually, lemme make another commit real quick...), but this is the first major hurdle we needed to overcome in order to start sending this wav data to the speech recognition endpoint!

Should that matter on a new process? I was lead to believe each tab is a new process, which (even in 32-bit mode) would still get up to 3 Gb RAM (or so).

2GB kernelspace, 2GB userspace, the latter of which is where Chrome will be.

Still, if a mostly static page is exceeding 2gb (it's a display-single-image post) I have issue.
Edit: same page loads fine in Chrome mobile.

Potato wedges. Some do have the audacity to say just "fries".

@Tsaukpaetra I do like that at the same time they introduced those they added normal mayonnaise. You'd get some strange looks ordering that with normal fries, but they'd punch it in regardless, and we've now got electronic ordering.
