Interesting. I wanted to know more, so I found this:
Their first suggestion? "Don't use non-Microsoft software."
So, according to them, @Tsaukpaetra, it is your own fault for running that Oracle stuff or whatever it is you're running, you bad boy, you.

In this case, it was actually legitimate, one of the API calls is 20 times slower than it should be, the equivalent database call completes in one second yet the site returns data only after an abysmal 23...
Hmm, do you have anything in place where you can easily measure what the time taken for each step of the call is? Otherwise you'll be shooting blind…
It's basically two select statements for the query. Other than that, not really. I'll be delving into the code Monday if the issue persists.

LOL
It's not in machine so NFC what's on it, but the hard drive failed S.M.A.R.T. (literally the first time I've ever seen such a thing happen) and at least five important directory entries are corrupted.

@Tsaukpaetra How much do you want to bet Edge's AdBlock has automatic whitelists for MSN ads, Bing ads, etc?
Also, "lol built in adblock", welcome to 2001's Firefox.

Status: Pre-made salad day 6.
I didn't expect to eat the last salad this late, but due to going out to dinner and free pizza stolen from work, it's my lunch today.
Verdict: chicken still ok. Lettuce... acceptable (but browning). The true curse of the salad is the tomato-- once removed from its skin, tomato turns into a nasty gloopy gel almost instantly. I don't know the solution to the tomato problem.

Don't refrigerate them, don't cut them up. Add them to the salad right before you eat it.

Status: Tomorrow is the day that we have my father and my wife's family over for a cookout every year. All the food is either done or prepped. Now, the only thing left to prepare for is a few hours with my father-in-law. Year before last I accidentally threatened him with a 10" chef's knife. We will see how things go this year.

That goes for the lettuce as well, to a lesser degree.

Or that if it was, you have backups...I have a backup from dec 2015, it's not my computer but it took a copy of the docs just in case when I did a checkup for a friend.
They followed my advice to get a replacement machine, but still kept using this one despite being warned they need to replace the disk . Oh well, not my data.

+Yes. Tomatoes, once they hit 4 degrees Celsius or less-- there's an enzyme in them that gets shut off. And that's where all the flavor comes from.
If you're making salads in bulk, cherry tomatoes are awesome. Bite sized, don't need to be cut or refrigerated, tasty.

Lesser as in "not at all". Wash it, dry it, refrigerate it. It'll last longer that way.

Since it's actually AdBlock (or AdBlockPlus) that seems unlikely. (Also, I have it installed, so I know it doesn't.)

Status: Giving Vivaldi another test of "are you ready to become my default browser?".
Open something like cloud9, hit the save shortcut aaaand...
... system save dialog opens. Guys, come on, it's not like you don't know about this shit not working right, I reported it ages ago. I can live with dev tools not being able to embed in the main window (Atom manages it, it's completely doable guys!), but this shit...
I mean, yeah, ok, you can debate the whole "should a website even be able to override these shortcuts?" thing, but some of the tools I use do it and I need them working properly as they do in Opera, Chrome and Firefox!

I actually got exposed to Edge. It is not Internet Explorer, which makes it a good "backup" browser on Windows. I still get the beta feeling about it, and every once in a while it directs you to open things in the Internet Explorer! You know, like Edge still suffers from the imposter-syndrome, that and they should release a Linux (and OSX) version.

That's considered a success story.

STATUS:
Sonatype Nexus sucks.
So apparently, it uses some weird AJAX thing to get resources for the page. It guesses the address... using... some strange voodoo.
Which works great until it's behind a reverse proxy, then everything falls apart.
Searching the response for the internal IP doesn't work either.
(Obviously those requests fail if you're not internal...)

Status: It's so fucking frustrating to try to get support for something when you know more about the thing than the people giving you support. Infuriating. Thanks for wasting my fucking time.

Status: Deciding whether it would be worth my time to crack open this beast and attempt to move the GPU to PCI-E16 slot 1 instead of slot 2, when it probably won't make any fucking difference to fucking anything and when I probably had a very good reason to put it in slot 2 in the first place, like it physically fit there.
Oh fuck it.
I'm going to inconvenience myself to fuck and back in the interest of being "technically correct". Even though I'm going to take off the case's cover and instantly find the reason I put it in that slot was that its fan'll chop-into the CPU cooler's or some other perfectly rational reason like that.
If nothing else, the driver will get a nice fresh install afterwards.

@dse If Microsoft actually released Edge for Android I'd be so happy.
The rest of browsers suck ass, and I don't like being at the mercy of Chrome.
