CBA to examine the source code, but I'd implement that behavior this way:
- clear the entire grid // always the most safest way,
BrianJeff says so - put the previously invisible and now visible row at the beginning // where the row belongs, obviously
- go down the list of the other (visible) rows and prepend each row to the grid // the most maintainablest way,
BrianJeff says so
- clear the entire grid // always the most safest way,
-
Basically the grid implements
Visible
in terms of settingVisibleIndex
to -1 or to the number of columns, which means that unsetting the property makes the grid forget any ordering information.I worked around it by keeping a list of
VisibleIndex
es from before the columns get hidden and setting it manually, but still, what the fuck?!

Oh my... Is that... a Javascript-web-app thing?
That's possibly even worse..............

Status: Earlier today I met a new intern at a client location. She had sent us a couple of emails about getting her work email setup on her phone, etc. On those emails, there was an profile photo from Google+...
This girl has perfected the "Fat Girl Angle".
When I saw her, I very literally did not recognize her from the profile photo. She was a full 100lbs heavier than her photo would lead you to believe. Probably more.

99 little bugs in the code, 99 little bugs. Take one down, patch it around, 147 bugs in the code.
My daughter sent this to me the other day:

/me dashes off to get herself one of that.

Status: Doing It Wrong. 5 Discourse tabs open. Computer is not happy.

I'm not sure what's going on, but the computer keeps doing this
when I switch between tabs, and the speakers make clicking sounds every 1 – 2 seconds while that erratic CPU activity is going on.

Your compiler is now up to 1970's levels of advancement.

Well, judging by the fact that you seem to be using Windows XP, it's probably just a configuration problem with your botnet.

Yup. It's a "mobile-first cloud-first IDE". And it also somehow can work on Arduino. Go figure.

Blindness is tragic.
Oh really?
Win7:
@HardwareGeek's image:
Looks pretty fucking similar to me. I do believe that XP was missing the Services and Networking tabs, but I CBA to fire up a VM to find out.

I do believe that XP was missing the Services and Networking tabs
Yes, yes it was.

Status: Just spent 30 minutes trying to fix a boot issue on a Linux VM before I realized that all I had to do was revert to the most recent snapshot. Newborns turn your brain to mush.

How did you get Windows 7 to look that ugly? Jesus.

Status: waiting for someone to give me some work after a rough 2 weeks of intense bugfixing in an inherently broken codebase that was driving me to madness. No rush here.

I counter attack with Lays Gyro-flavored potato chips.
I tried those. The first couple actually seemed pretty good. Then I stopped.

They're pretty awful. The Biscuits and Gravy ones are actually rather good.

Status: Finished the framing walkthrough on my new house this morning. Only two more intermediate inspections (insulation and drywall) before things can really get moving. Unfortunately, the city seems to be very busy with inspections lately. Hopefully this doesn't delay things too much. Outside estimate to completion: 8 weeks.

How did you forget which tabs were in XP Task Manager? For shame, oh god of all things Microsoft.

Considering the framing walkthrough is actually when they are ready to start putting in insulation: none. They are all properly attached.
-
Uh...they should have been, but one way to tell the quality of the build team is if they all are. Lazy and quick means some can be tacked only on one end.

i know about a certain forum that needs it

Status: Had to explain again that just because someone writes a long rant about how Windows 10 is teh mostest Spyware OS evar! doesn't mean that the hysteria is fully justified. Especially when the guy with the rant is dishonest.
He "cited" a passage where MS supposedly said that they'd share the contents of your private folders on your hard disc with law enforcement if required to. Strangely enough, the guy did not provide a direct link to said passage (and a Google search was not exactly fruitful - it only referenced the rant) when he did provide plenty of other links.
Secondly, I strongly suspect that he a) added the "on your hard disc" part and b) did not quite grasp that cloud services label any folder which are not public as "private".

Also, paging @HardwareGeek and @antiquarian, you guys need to get your shit together and work out a color schedule so we can tell you apart at a glance.

They're not the only culprits for avatars which are difficult to distinguish at a glance...

Yeah, well, we mostly ignore the other two. ;)

Shit, that was @antiquarian in the avatars thing of the lounge. Thought it had been @HardwareGeek.

See what you have done @antiquarian? You were mistaken for a 172 year old man due to your avatar hijinks.

Is this a Networking tab which I see before me,
The clickable zone towards my mouse? Come, let me click thee.
I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible
To feeling as to sight? or art thou but
A Networking tab of the mind, a false creation,
Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain?
