Can't you add Uppercase Sonic?
The spellcheck already knows that word; the grammar check on the other hand…
-
It might think it's an adjective?

They are fragile which is why they're hard to keep if you don't know what your doing. Tap water will kill them. Fertilizer will kill them. Soil will kill them. Basically anything you do to a normal houseplant will kill a flytrap. They need pure distilled water and rocky/sandy soil with very little nutrient/mineral content.
They are good at catching insects though. This morning I noticed some closed traps on it, and I hardly ever have bugs inside the apartment.

If it was a spelling thing, the squiggle would be red; blue is a grammar issue.
Green is Grammar. Blue is 'it's perfectly correct grammar but I think you meant to say something different'.
Delusions of grandeur...One time a blue worm was highlighting what turned out to be an actual mistake and I died a little inside.

Green is Grammar
I've been using various versions of Word for, oh, 15 years or more? And I've never seen a green squiggle…
-
IIRC gramming checking is disabled by default on non en-US language settings because it's a total piece of crock and more or less incapable of dealing with non USAian english, let alone any other language.

Are you colour-blind?

That would explain it

Not even slightly ;)

I like the lowercase sonic best, and I'm sayin' grace. When you say grace you can say it to Uppercase Sonic or slow sonic or whoever you want.

I can barely keep my Windows installation on a 240GB SSD.

I just googled and it says they use blue for grammar and 'contextual spelling errors' in Word 2013 (I've not really used that), but confirms they used green for grammar in previous versions.

I love Godzilla
as much as anybodymuch more than mostjust saying the word "Godzilla" isn't a joke.
You should go to California and get hired writing sitcom jokes. Maybe you could do better. (Seems moderately likely tbh.)

Pacifist
Complete a mission without anyone on your squad dealing or taking any damage.
-
Retreat
Complete a mission only walking backwards.

##Wasting Resources
Use all your ammo in the course of completing a mission

The One Free Bullet
Finish the game firing exactly one bullet.
Oh wait, that one exists. And was awesome.

Right company, wrong game.

The One Free Bullet
Finish the game firing exactly one bullet.
i managed to get that acheivement when i was dicking around trying to complete the game using only crowbar/gravgun.... for the life of me i can't remember when i fired that bullet.....
-
You need to fire a bullet to break a lock early in the game because it's before you have the crowbar and the gravity gun can't reach it.
-
hmmm that might have been it. although i could have sworn i ended up map glitching my way around that.... i think.
-
I tried that, got to the end, and then found out that the crossbow (which fires rebar) counts as bullets. Ugh.
-
the crossbow (which fires rebar) counts as bullets.
well they are a bullet entity type.
IIRC the altfire of the SMG (grenade) and combine rifle (energy pellet) also are bullet entities and so count as bullets for that achievement.
-
crowbar
Are we talking about Half-life? I'e never played it but I found out today that a crowbar is involved.
Can anyone tell me who the guy at the back in this picture is?
I managed to figure out that the chap with the crowbar is Gordon Freeman (I very nearly wrote Morgan there...), a man who apparently never speaks and frequently bludgeons people to death with a crowbar.

Wouldn't that be not using all your ammo? If you didn't use it, you didn't need it and should requisition less next mission, buster.

##Kill the Oryx
Oh wait. No. No no no. OMG. Worst achievement imaginable. People with the "Kill the Oryx" achievement should be rounded up and put in camps.
-
I tried that, got to the end, and then found out that the crossbow (which fires rebar) counts as bullets. Ugh.
WTF! I hate achievements that have bad descriptions like that.
well they are a bullet entity type.
And obviously the player knows that.
IIRC the altfire of the SMG (grenade) and combine rifle (energy pellet) also are bullet entities and so count as bullets for that achievement.
Ugh. I would have gotten that wrong too.
There was one from Dishonored which was something like, "pacifist: complete a level without killing anybody" but it was really unclear whether the mindless zombie-people counted as "anybody". I assumed they didn't (since it's nearly impossible to get by them without killing at least one) and it turned out, oops.
-
WTF! I hate achievements that have bad descriptions like that.
Finish the game firing exactly one bullet. Grenade, crowbar, rocket, and Gravity Gun kills are okay!
-
but it was really unclear whether the mindless zombie-people counted as "anybody".
I guess that would depend if they're "diseased" zombies or undead zombies.
-
Grenade, crowbar, rocket, and Gravity Gun kills are okay!
That makes the fact that SMG grenades are counted as bullets EVEN WORSE.
I guess that would depend if they're "diseased" zombies or undead zombies.
They're victims of a disease that has rendered them mindless, they attack everybody on sight, the disease has no cure. (And it's not a video game thing where you find a cure in the last ten minutes; the disease literally has no cure.)
Even going for a pacifist run, I had no moral qualms about putting these dudes out of their misery.
-
I have no clue about the game but I want to join in too
##Up yours
Finish the game using bayonet only.

Apparently they're not grenade grenades.

In high school, I had a (Canon?) calculator that could do fractions. (I've never owned one of the TI-8x etc series, so I don't know if that's actually a common thing.)
-
IIRC my Casio fx 180p also supported fractions. It was the only one we were allowed to use during exams...
-
It's probably not. TI calculators use a variant of Basic, so while there may be applications that handle fractions, you won't get them by just doing math. I vote for calculators that run Lisp. Considering the typical TI-84 costs more than a low-end Lumia, it wouldn't be very difficult.
-
The entity name for grenades is npc_grenade_frag. There doesn't seem to be one for the SMG grenade, so I think it's just a particle effect.
-
IIRC my Casio fx 180p also supported fractions.
Maybe it was a Casio I had, not a Canon. All I remember was it was a light blue and was landscape-shaped, not portrait like most.
-
That makes the fact that SMG grenades are counted as bullets EVEN WORSE.
FWIW, it's been a while, but I don't think that's true. I think the alternate fires are OK.According to this, at least SMG grenades should be OK, though there's contradictory information around. Lots of people say "avoid it", but this may just be caution. I don't see anyone saying "it counts".
I'd be tempted to play through and see, but I have that achievement and don't know how to reset it.

There's one in Deus Ex: Human Revolution where you're not allowed to kill anyone. Oops, not allow any corpses to come into existence. Which leads to having to let your pilot die in her chopper at one point in the game, because that doesn't count, and if you manage to save here (bloody hard on nonlethal) she kills a bunch of guys with a missile a couple of missions later who do count.
I do not have that achievement.
The general problem with this type of achievement is there is no signalling - you play through the game, and find out at the end whether you made an error somewhere.
