I would also be making sure I had some Tylenol as I always end up with a headache when I drink (too much) of it.
Tylenol is bad for this. It's liver toxicity can get a lot worse with alcohol. I've sworn off acetaminophen entirely after some of my liver enzymes got out of whack. Certainly partly due to diet, but I used to take regular Excedrin (aspirin + acetaminophen + caffeine) for headaches.
Now back to just aspirin + caffeine. Liver and head are happy with this arrangement.
-
I was speaking generically. I keep Ibuprofen around for general aches and pains, headaches, etc. Excedrin Migraine for when I have those.
I also never take the pre-emptive pain meds on the occasions I drink too much. My liver has been punished enough, no sense kicking it while it is down.

At least you see an image; all I see is a big white space.
There's enough of that at the sides already!

Status: Just added a space-heater to my workspace. It's an old Dell PowerEdge tower with a pair of dual-core Pentium 4 processors and 4 GB of some weird DDR2 spec...fully-buffered I think. Our new corporate overlords bought us all MSDN subscriptions so I was able to install Windows 8.1 to it.
-
This should be interesting.
-
Nothing terribly interesting, I had need of a second workstation and this one was unused. Mostly I needed a dedicated system for unit testing on the USB variants of our hardware, as well as a workstation with an ancient version of the Subversion client installed so I can actually branch/tag/merge. I have 1.8 on my main workstation but our SVN server is so ancient half the commands don't work, and it takes nearly a full day to do a full check-out of everything I need on my main system so I never downgraded.
What is funny is having a fairly new HP workstation with an LGA2011 Xeon and 10 GB RAM running Windows 7, sitting right next to a Pentium 4 from over 10 years ago running Windows 8.1.
-
I usually check out svn repositories using git svn. That way, I get a full copy of the repository and blakey gets mad at me.
-
-
Basically, git can communicate with an svn server. And git hg has a similar purpose.

I'm going to assume that the Mumble server doesn't hate me specifically and that my ISP is disconnecting me because downloading the last three Alien Swarm campaigns on my list simultaneously is too much.

This used to happen to me constantly when I was hosting murmur. Then I bought a mumble server, and that helped, but I still disconnect from it constantly if I have any torrents seeding. Live tech support was no help in discovering that.
-
It's my entire internet connection going down, though. And I can't download one of these campaigns through a CLI that lets me resume downloads because it's hosted on Google Drive.
-
Weird. I download a lot, and I'm stuck with Comcast (apartment), and even my connection stays up...
But come to think of it, I seem to remember you being famous for the sheer horror of your ISP

Way overdue cell phone bill, because their system sucks and apparently quit sending out email bills two months ago.
How are you supposed to know how much to pay if you never received the bill?
-
:dwarf:
I just saw an ad for a game on Steam that claims to be a mix of Terraria, Dwarf Fortress, and Dungeon Keeper. (Craft the World, if anyone (@ben_lubar) cares).

Status: Mod team has a bunch of new playtesters join. Playtesters start using issue tracker (provided by me, not free) for old repository. Told not to use issue tracker, but instead to use forum to report bugs (inb4 Discodevs!). Not to use the one for the new repo, but the old one.
Fortunately I fixed that before it got out of control...
-
Ew, why would I play a Dwarf Fortress clone? They're obviously just going to get it wrong.
-
Ew, why would I play a Dwarf Fortress clone?
No, it's not a clone, it's got features similar to the idea of DF gameplay.
The game engine is a 2D sidescroller like Terraria. From the video I saw, you can draw a building, and your minions will build it, like the way you give orders in DF.

Does it simulate the internal organs and tissues of every NPC for 250 ingame years before letting you play?

I don't know, but I gave you the name of the game if you want to try to find out.

Jeff says nobody cares yet. Not tested personally, I don't have an IE9.

status awfully quiet here tonight. Are everyone watching the eurovision song contest, or what?

What would I do that for? We got eliminated in the semis.

You can follow my live commentary in the Likes thread ...
-
To be honest, in my opinion, everything in the first semis was mediocre at best. Including belgium.
-

So it was true Eurovision then?
Including ■■■■■■■.
Ofcourse! We only do mediocre. After the Walloon broadcasting delft a pit by winning in the 80ties we are wiser and only send songs that are sure to not win. In good years we send songs that are not utter shit.

So I can, and that accounta for the three of us. But where are the rest?
