Status: Watching Elfen Lied.
A lot of stupid had to happen to get things started.
I find it very amusing they gloss over the experiments' nudity, and instead of seeking medical attention for an apparent head injury they decide to take her to a house that was abandoned or something.

This Dust Buster apparently takes 8 hours to charge for 25 minutes of use.
Charges over USB 1, does it?
Also it has a really stupid design where if you pick up lint it blocks the part where it enters the collector.
Duh. It isn't called a Lint Buster...

I heard from a few people that Elfen Lied had a plot, and it wasn't just hyper-violent fan service. I suspect those people are liars.

Node.js is written in C, you'll be fine.

Yeah, sounds like you're qualified to use NodeJS.

Yes, that's a
I'm not going to fight, because others are already doing so. So for now, they get lovely little sticky notes with the words "CPU banned from network 2023".

Maybe I should give the game another try.

Gentlemen! I suspect the internet misled me. It said you could put money with mildew on it in warm soapy water and brush it off with a toothbrush. I don't think that really worked.

You seem to have misunderstood the concept of money laundering.

Shouldn't damaged bills just be returned to the issuing bank as-is?

And CSS.CSS is kinda sorta semi there but itâs an old school hotch-potch of whatâs supported, and mostly supported inline rather than as an attached or external style sheet.
JS has shown zero signs of appearing in emails thus far, $deity->thank();

I like to hang on to high denominations, old style, and otherwise decent condition bills. Also, there's about 20 feet of road work near the town's credit union (banks won't let you do anything without an account with them), which always translates to a mile of construction equipment scattered all over and seven miles bumper-to-bumper of traffic. Next best option was to spend them, as they weren't completely ruined, but four separate registers at two different stores intermittently fought me. So I figured I'd try the washing bit, at least until February when they're done replacing that stop sign or whatever those 500 orange vests are purportedly doing. Plus it took the focus off my allergies for a little while...

Maybe I should give the game another try.Now that they've fixed some of the glaring issues it's meant to somewhat decent. People on a couple podcasts I listen too say that while not as earth shattering as the pr made it sound its a solid game. It's meant to take a few hundred hours to 100% complete though.
I'm sticking to my policy of not buying a game until all the dlc is done and the last patch is out.

They can't fix terrible writing, bad characterisation, bad quest design, total linearity and zero player agency. Not to mention million non existing features they lied about.
Shooting is fun, sneaking is fun sometimes, and that's it. It will never be a good game.

It appeared very briefly and must have been used immediately to launch some kind of horrible prank within Microsoft, because it got thoroughly disabled in Outlook (and hence also in other web clients that came later). It might not have even affected many people, but must have been really annoying to exactly the right person. Bullet dodged.

But think about how much more civilized mass mail chains would be with zombo.com in every reply signature!

I've been playing (and enjoying) Dyson Sphere Program and while it's not done (especially in some of the translations into English, and in a few other places where things are less clear than they should be), it's definitely very playable if you like tinkering with supply chains. And have many hours to spare; it's a time sink!
-
I have played and completed Return to Monkey Island. While I didnât have the belly-laughs and tears and overwhelming reaction that Twitter seems to be reporting on, I had a fun enough time with it and I think that they pulled off one thing I never expected: to get the band back together, make a âsequelâ after 30 years and for it to not suck.
And I would even go as far as suggesting the final reveal is not disappointing. Which, frankly, is a goddamn miracle.
-
@Arantor I'm sold. Is it "playable" without having played all the others? Asking for my girlfriend.
-
@Zecc yes, they put effort into that. There is a recap on offer at the start to give you enough of the context to make it make sense, and a lot of the dialogue does cover it. That said, while I think it is playable on its own, those familiar with the series will definitely get more out of it.
-
@Arantor nice, it's got a Mac version!
Although that processor requirement "AMD FX-4300 (4 * 3800) or equivalent / Intel Core i3-3240 (2 * 3400) or equivalent" doesn't exactly convince me whether Arm macs are supported or not.
-
@topspin I donât see much in the way of confirmation either way, sadly. There are Steam reviews suggesting it worked fine for them, though take that with the usual volume of salt.

Google tried pushing "AMP in Email" a while ago but AFAIK everyone realized what a horrible idea it would be, so it never took off
-
@hungrier people realized JS in email is a horrible idea and AMP in email is a horrible idea? That sounds like winning the lottery twice.
I mean, itâs blindingly obvious, but that normally doesnât stop extremely stupid things from getting shoved down everyoneâs throats.

Having used custom CSS to move the vote buttons (as well as Quote and Reply) to the left a couple years ago, I can say I don't regret it one bit
