Status: I took my mouse apart, cleaned it, and replaced the mouse feet today. Looks great and feels slicker than before!
Unfortunately, when I tried to turn my computer back on nothing happened. Turns out the battery in my UPS is dead and it doesn't run the battery outlets when that happens. Rearranging the cables got my computer back up and running, but it may be a bit before I get a replacement battery in the mail.

Cleric Initiative
Perhaps Ghostly Guards which immediately spawn their buddies even if you surprise them and those then get to attack first with sneak negative levels will have you reconsider traditions. Mandragora Swarms have got nothing on those jacked-up utter little cheats.
Don't know what to tell you as I'm nowhere near there. Searching tells me that they're end-game incorporeal Rogues, so I'm not surprised that their Stealth would be hard to beat. Death Ward would help you with the negative levels, and don't bother using anything with a Reflex save against them.

max out Perception
Tenebrous Depths checks are downright unfair. Without two feats + constant buffs I don't think the true ending is viable. As a stat it just seems less useful than in some other systems. And yet those terrible bosses taught me far more about mechanics than anything else.
Perception is the most used skill in tabletop Pathfinder, followed by your social skill (Diplomacy/Bluff/Intimidate in tabletop, combined in the computer game) and the Knowledges that identify enemies. It's so ingrained in the system that they removed it from the normal skill list in the second edition of the game.
Given that Tenebrous Depths is the DLC challenge dungeon, I'm not surprised that it's unfair.

Status: spiraling into confusion
I made the mistake of trying to verify inventory visually. From this aborted attempt, I learned four things.
- I don't label my containers well even now so photos that say "... ML Spiderman 1X ..." are useless because they don't say which ML Spiderman even though I had the perfect opportunity to state it when I labeled the container this damned year.
- I have stuff that's been in the basement since 2015 that's not in the computer ledger even though I was sure it was but restoring three separate database backups suggests that I imagined it.
- There are still more receipts floating around because I found four and, while that solves some irregularities in what I was able to verify visually, there are still two items I can't account for from 2019.
- I have listed in inventory something that was sold but not recorded and I have no idea where to look for the sale record.
Lord have mercy, this year is actually trying to be more fucked up than 2018 was. This corona lockdown is all that's going to save me from another nightmare in 2020.

Which I didn't have. At the beginning of the last chapter the game takes away all your companions and you have to go and find them. Sort of like the Fade level in DA: Origins (I might be the rare kind who liked the idea). It's always interesting to see how well characters fare on their own, without support... in my case - not very.

Shows what I know. How does it work, though? I mean, DM can't order a roll to give away the clue that something is there, so it must be a simple check. And how does searching work? If you don't mind explaining more, that is.
Given that Tenebrous Depths is the DLC challenge dungeon, I'm not surprised that it's unfair.
The game automap has a lighting bug that often betrays where hidden doors might be (or it might be intentional given the amount of meta). I believe even the guide published by Steam forums mod didn't have all the passages. Unless they were added later, it's a bit too unfair IMO. Of course, I'm saying that about the entire game :)

FTFY?
Pretty much, yes. And as all those who have worked with that know, directory nodes are never cleaned up when the files in them are deleted.

Status: One of the downsides of being raised in a highly technically-religious country is that when there's a church about half a kilometer from you and they have brass orchestra playing Easter religious songs on Tuesday at 5:30PM, you just can't help hearing all the lyrics in your head. I didn't realize how annoying it is until it happened just now.

K had that happen recently in a song that wasn't specifically religious.

status I don't think I'll install even numbered doxygen builds anymore... 1.8.16 and now 1.8.18 both die. (looks like I may be hitting a bug that's now marked as fixed - I crash when it starts processing enums)
