But it makes it sound like a generic low-budget cartoon for ages 3-5.
cartoon for ages 3-5, yes.... but much like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was a show aimed at girls aged 5-9 it appeals to a significantly wider aundience.
so not low budget, aimed at young children, enjoyable for many ages, and is totally worth watching!

Status: Went to BWW for lunch. Mistake on several levels:
- They were much slower than usual, so instead of making it back in an hour it was more like 90 minutes.
- I asked for a snack size wings, they served me a small size wings.
- I did not have the self control to only eat a snack size worth of wings.
- My heart is now literally on fire.
- I do not carry Zantac in my bag of pills I might need at work, and the closest pharmacy or department store to where I work is over 2 miles away (plus the weather is terrible anyway).

So you should know first hand how enormous is the gap between 3-5 shows and 5-9 shows, and why I wasn't willing to watch something that sounded like the former.

I used to watch it, when my kids were of the appropriate age. (My daughter may still watch it; she works with kids that age.) I don't remember anything particularly unpleasant about it. That was a couple of decades ago, before everything was infected with the wokeness virus, so it may not be watchable any more.
However, I preferred Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Although some parts of the show may have been somewhat painful for parents, some segments were actually interesting and informative to adults — specifically, the occasional segments where they visited a factory to see how things were made. I still remember two of those, one about red Radio Flyer® wagons (the ones you saw close-up on camera didn't have any brand markings, but in the background you could see some with the classic script lettering; in particular, I remember the robotic painting machine), and one about making crayons (melted crayon wax is poured into a mold to a couple of dozen (?) crayons sticking out of a rectangular block and allowed to cool until the wax is solid but still quite soft, then a blade would scrape away the soft base, leaving the individual crayons in the mold, which would then be cooled until fully solid, wrapped in their paper sleeves, and packaged).

Driving past it on the freeway wasn't necessarily awful, but don't try to exit at Shoreline. That could take a half-hour just to go a couple hundred meters.

Status: yesterday I thought "this weekend I'm putting the winter tires on my cars"... Tonight, 15 cm of snow happened. The tires on my car are breaking traction on wet asphalt.
And it was parked where I had to move it before 06:00. I fairly fast realized I couldn't make it up even mild inclines because the resistance of the snow overcame my meagre grip.
Now, I couldn't just leave it where it was so I figured that the main roads had been plowed, so I set off on a slow downhill trip towards one of them that would take me to the commuter parking. It worked.
This evening me and my boss will open a bottle of 24yo Glenmorangie I bought for him a while back, so no tire jockeying this evening.
My current plan is to get my ass to the garage and swap to winter tires on the Outback, and then hope the snow thaws really soon so I can get the BRZ to the garage. Not at all feeling like doing a tire swap in a snow covered parking lot.

I've got multiple family groups nearby from my parents divorcing and remarrying. There was a time when I was attending three Thanksgivings and four Christmases.
-
@Parody sounds like your parents divorce and remarry pretty often. Don't worry, I have a weird family too. Yesterday was the first time my grandma met my mom's husband. Dunno how it went, because I'm an ocean away and haven't called yet.
