Maybe. I'd probably be having different problems.

Your first problem was World of Tanks
-
That's true of all non-esoteric languages with threads.
But how many of them have something like .NET's Task Parallel Library?
-
"I only ever use a credit card!" people cope with this?
I don't have just one card?
I have a couple hundred in emergency cash in my lockbox for specifically stuff like this.
Like I don't?
-
Even Java now!
-
Apparently there were a steady stream of people walking out of that, according to Variety.
-
Doesn't surprise me in the least.

Oh yeah, your problem would be when you tell girls at parties that you wrote multithreaded code in C# they'd get so wet you'd need to grab a mop and bucket right then and there.
True story.

Are you sure she hasn't just pissed herself laughing?

Status: 4 hours of snow shoveling, 2 loads of dishes, some downright revolting plumbing (ughhh I hate clogged drains). Next up: Shower, more dishes, dinner, more rampant alcoholism and fireplace.

GWT isn't sane?

hit up the CoinStar in Fred Meyer, I got like $150 in change at least.
Do it. $150 will buy a lot of groceries, and you won't have to touch the lockbox.
-
But if you do cash from CoinStar you pay 10% service fee. If you do Amazon gift card, you pay 0% service fee.
-
So raid your lockbox and get the gift card? I don't mind paying them 10% to count my loose change that was sitting around gathering dust. If you know someone who will do it for free, I'd like to hear about it.

Prime pantry.

But if you go to my local credit union, you pay no fee :V

Amazon Prime Now?

I did. I don't recall asking your advice.

Another reason to hate NC State:
-
I mean. I would TOTALLY use an Amazon branded dating site.
-
I don't recall asking your advice.
Yes, but if people didn't give it you might not get to yell at them, and people here want you to be happy.
-
I did. I don't recall asking your advice. How dare people try and talk to me on a forum! They should just read everything I have to say and never try to talk to me or help me! That isn't the point of a forum! The forum is all about meeee!

Status: That sinking feeling when you've accidentally lost your headphone-jack dust cover because pockets.
Now I get to either wait for three weeks for China to ship me a new set (because who buys just one?) or visit the Bling isle somewhere and pay 800x its worth and discard almost everything in the package....

I would TOTALLY use an Amazon-branded dating site.
Only if they do same-day delivery.

Did you try yelling at the snow to get off your lawn?

preferably via drones
I don't think sending short skirted girls through the air would be a safe solution ... imagine all the guys walking below walking against street lights because they where looking up.

You know what wouldn't care if it found too many hits? Vim.
You also know what wouldn't care? Notepad++.
Using a subpar editor is TRWTF.

That's a surprisingly accurate depiction of the nature of the problems I might get if I multithread this thing incorrectly, except it'd probably notice there is a problem and not output anything but an incrementing error counter.
That or I end up having to introduce so many critical sections I might as well not bother.

Status: Having a slight headache, hands and feet are cold, I have a slight cough and my joints aren't feeling so rad either. Not a full-blown cold, it's rather on the level of "mild irritation".
This, of course, has to happen a) on a weekend and b) the day before the "free" days I managed to get my principal to agree to. ("Free" as in: free of lectures but finally having to unpack all the crates of my equipment).
Let's hope it's gone by tomorrow morning.

You are not a person I would turn to when seeking knowledge about non-esoteric languages.

Oh great, walking pnuemonia?
It has evolved to: "Coughs feel like I'm blasting the top of my head off."

Oh it doesn't care. It's just asking if you really wanted a 1001+ result search.

Status: trying to decide if this video of me playing an inscrutable game for 10 minutes is interesting or entertaining in any way.
Also kind of curious why indie developers think it's ok to release a complicated game with weird controls and abstract graphics and absolutely no tutorial or help system in it.
