TIL:
Next, note that there’s an attribute (System.Runtime.CompilerServices.DecimalConstantAttribute – I’ve taken the namespace off in the listing for the sake of readability) applied to the field, which tells anything consuming the assembly that it should be a constant, and what its value is. Indeed, if you’re very careful, you can create your own “constants” like this:
[DecimalConstant((byte)0, (byte)0, (uint)0, (uint)0, (uint) 5)] public static readonly decimal ConstDecimal;
That field declaration will be treated as a constant in other assembles – but not within the same assembly. So printing ConstDecimal within the same assembly will result in 0 (unless you change it to another value in the static initializer) whereas printing Test.ConstDecimal in a different assembly will result in 5. (It won’t even touch the field at execution time.) I’m sure I can work out some nasty ways of abusing that, if I try hard enough.

Have a like because it Jon Skeet…

Funny, I thought it was William Skeat, until I notice that there were no þs in it.

TlL that I can place a dash by swiping en or em and tapping the second suggestion—though to correctly space the em still requires a little micro (wp10's little blue dot does help a lot with that).
Also I was able to upload an image to the mobile site instead of having to switch over to the broken desktop view mode: WP10 really makes discourse incredibly tolerable to use. Well, that's still relative I guess—there's still some unbelievably annoying bullshit where I can move the cursor but it still inserts at the old location that only gets a pass for being less fucked up than any previous mobile discourse I ever experienced.
Bonus til: Til there's a user named @tildebeast.

Yeah--Edge in W10 can upload pasted pictures now, too.

In other words, BlockAdBlock aims to block AdBlock from blocking ads, but AdBlock realized that BlockAdBlock is trying to block AdBlock, so AdBlock is now blocking BlockAdBlock from blocking AdBlock from blocking ads.

TIL the Windows 7 (and up) firewall blocks ICMP echo requests.
Because pings are scary and it's totally worth the pain of trying to diagnose a network without them, right.

And yet WinServer 2k8 and 2k12 leave it on by default from what I've seen.

That might be sensible…

Let's just remove any system features that might be vulnerable then.

disabled != removed
-
Disabled by default == removed, for plenty of things. One of them being network protocols.
-
Fun fact, Apache had a similar bug a while ago, exploiting the Range header for abuse and profit.
Double fun fact, none of our servers at work were ever vulnerable to the bug exposed here...

Texan christmas cake tins also work well.

No. Sugar. Plus nuts and candied fruit. What it lacks in meat it makes up for in sheer calorific diabetes inducement.

So it's basically something like a fruitcake? Why would they call it a Texas cake then? Seems like false advertising.
-
It contains a lone starfruit.

Because they're made in Texas.

The way you quoted that, made it not a link. Further, I can't even highlight it! I had to view source so I could follow it.
I see they call them--as you quoted--Texas Fruitcakes. That's a little clearer.

I did not anticipate the part where it would be non-selectable. Nothing a bit of DiscHTMLourBBcodese can't fix. Better now?

They do come in a really good tin though. We use ours to hold the models from our christmas nativity layout; can get a lot in, almost everything except the stable itself.
