TMBSNDO“a keyboard like no other”OWIWNPA.

No other low-profile keyboard costs that much.
-
The Smart Keyboard combines an array of new technologies and materials to create a keyboard like no other.1
Filed under: 1The end product might end up being a keyboard like any other.

Also, "an innovative new interface that allows for a two-way exchange of power and data." You mean, like USB?
Not to mention my $150 Win8 tablet has a "full size keyboard" that's "fully portable" and connects with a dedicated connector at the bottom of the device. You can even fold it into a stand just like this one (actually better, since that photo looks like you can tip the tablet over rather easily)
-
Jesus Christ. The reality distortion field is in full effect. At this point, they could shit in to their user's mouths and their userbase would still love them.
-
I think PS/2 was also capable of exchanging "power and data".

Someone would post this sooner or later, so why not post it now.
-
TBH: the slimy bastards of the PR office used the word "reinvented". But yeah, it's a sad day when your only achievement is copying from the people that copied you.

No other keyboard similar to this one has ⌘ and ⌥ keys.

You wait until someone gets their sharpie out!
-
What's the latter symbol? Windshield wiper to use in their AI cars?
-
Presumably when it comes to them making cars they'll reinvent the wheel too.
-
-
That has already been done.
-
Well, that's the point - everything "invented" by Apple was earlier invented by someone else. Even wheels.

FTFY.

What's the latter symbol?
Alt, and I guess it's supposed to indicate switching to an alternate line or circuit.
-
At this point, they could shit in to their user's mouths and their userbase would still love them.
To be fair, that would be because they'd only just invented shit.
-
This post is deleted!

Wait...
You have got to be shitting me.
Dammit Apple, why on earth do you do that?
I wouldn't care if they didn't talk about their "innovations". Jesus, guys, it's Belgium identical! Just say you've got an awesome new keyboard and stop lying through your teeth!
-
-
This is especially good, because they claim its a full keyboard.
-

They "innovated" by having less keys.
-
Welllll..... it is? Kinda?
It's missing the F-keys, but apparently that's a thing nowadays.
Of course, it's useless if you want to use the device like a laptop, a-la Surface. Which means it's essentially equivalent to one of those $40 Logitech keyboard case things
-
They really missed their chance to differentiate themselves when they even stole the naming scheme. They could have at least named it the Max iPad. ;)
-
With the iPad Pro, you can now run two side-by-side iPad Air apps.
Holy shit, seriously? I mean, that must have taken years in R&D... oh wait, Win8 had it from the get-go for Metro apps. Also, the whole fucking Windows system underneath instead of a mentally challenged version of it (and no, RT didn't exist for all intents and purposes).
-
Even Android has had that for a while.
-
Has it? How do I turn it on?
Third party modifications don't count as Android.

NFC, I only ever do it by accident.
Third party modifications don't count as Android.
While trying to look for it, I only find links to experimental features, and Samsung "multi-window" and as I have a Samsung phone it is likely 3rd party.
-
It's indeed a part of Android, but one that Apps need to be built specifically to invoke.
Companies such as Samsung have made an interface to force certain apps that claim to be compatible to do this (so the interface is third part), but the actual functionality used is there. This is seen with certain apps that can "pop out" or "overlay" themselves permanently over all your other running apps. Multi-Window is merely a managed boxed version of that.
(Example apps that do this that are actually on my phone at the moment are Twitch and TeamSpeak, but there are others).

Also: Facebook and their stupid "Chat heads" and propensity to want to take over your entire phone.
-
-
Let's not forget the two different Hangouts apps for Chrome, with one having stupid overlay circles and the other being much better without them.
-
!!!! I need to send this to my home PC. The one where you can only "switch to the not-circle interface" is still broken due to authentication problems with my broken phone.
-
Jesus, guys, it's ■■■■■■■ identical!
But the Surface one includes a touchpad! The iPad don't need no stinkin' touchpad!
-

It is part of core on Lollipop. In KitKat, too, IIRC. On my phone you open a compatible app, like Hangouts, and then hold the back button to enable selecting the second app.

Oh, chill out. It'll be allright.
'Cause every little thing
Is gonna be alright.
-
I can assure you neither of my two Lollipop devices do this.
Stock Android has no multi-window capabilities.
-
Huh. Works on my Samsung tablet and my LG phone.
-
IIRC stock Android gets it in Android M.
Samsung have added it for a couple of years now, I assume LG do the same.
-
There's no Esc!
There's no Ins!
There are no Home, End, PgUp and PgDn!
Backspace is named delete!INB4 "duh, it's a Mac."
-
There's no F1…F12 either.
-
Yes, but "nobody uses F1...F12 except nerds".
It's not like there are used in games or anything.
-
They're not used in iOS games so it's on an iPad.
-
Hmm, what is that key in the bottom left? It looks like it is
-
It is.
