Well, the pilot did involve Tim Curry threatening that a little girl would make "a nasty stain on the street".
But... Yeah, apparently.

Huh. I forgot about that particular bit.
-
Occasionally, the show would get very dark and realistic in its speech or implied events.
But nothing little kids would pick up on.
"A stain on the street" because she peed there is just as likely.
But, we are not capable of making decisions for ourselves. Need the government to tell us what is good for us.

Kitten Huffing
TIL about disfarbulating under the influence of kittens. I shall be more careful in future.

Animated slapstick comedy is "too violent"?
It has that Twin Beaks episode we were talking about earlier, where they dump a plastic-wrapped corpse into a river. (Given, it was a plant-mans corpse and he wasn't really dead, but still.) Darkwing Duck was pretty damned edgy by Disney standards.

I must've missed that one. Honestly, I mostly snuck episodes in when my mom wasn't home. She had a rule about no cartoons.

We did air Animaniacs... Though I don't remember how many jokes were missed in translation.
All of them, probably.

This one's all blakey:
@blakeyrat said:If you didn't read what I type, DO NOT REPLY TO IT.
I don't give a shit why you didn't read it. Whether it's because someone asked you a question, whether it's because you're legally blind, maybe a penguin bit into your testicles, whatever. I do not care. But don't reply to shit you haven't fucking read.
(And also don't compose made-up shit in your squishy little brain and attribute to me, that happens all the time also.)

No, blakey. That's why we have this thread.
In case everyone needs evidence.

Umm all these "out of topic" quotes seem to be reeking haddock with my unread count. I have to clear my unread count...too... many... blue circles with numbers in them...

You know it's great that I can come here and have my ideas mocked for free, any time I want to.
Another WTDWTF satisfied customer.

You know, I just realized that quote above could have been said by a Discourse customer going on meta.discourse.org with a bug report or suggestion for improvement.
Yes, I just compared us to Atwood. How about that?

How about it?

Well, if you think that opinions from forum posts are bugs...
I suppose you could say they are bugs in society.
But I would respond.
