you're more likely to be a sacrifice than a priest
So now you are trying to get the rest of us to wish it too?
-
Statistically speaking, you're more likely to be a sacrifice than a priest. Just pointing it out.
So basically the best possible outcome.
-

I was just warning my bestie to be careful what he wishes for, unless that's what he wants.

Why do you think I 'd my post to add that last bit?

Kentucky would have made a better analog, IMHO.

Or Detroit.
Detroit would not be a good analog for a
dirt-poor third-world shithole
It would however work well for simulating an environment like...say...Baghdad outside of the green zone.
-
You're right, I was actually thinking about one of the suburbs (Taylor).
-
Or Detroit.
But Detroit used to be rich, so it has like big buildings and stuff that real third-world shitholes generally-speaking do not have.

They're working on that, one fire at a time.

What about if you do it with her consent, like if you're both taking 'ludes?
Oh, wait, the SJWs tell me that modern, empowered women aren't mature enough to deal with that, so it's still rape.
-
Status: Just sent an email to a customer with a short list of steps to summarize a process, and incorporated the Underpants Gnomes profit model into said list.

From the article:
But during a news conference at the White House, the president said that "if you give a woman, or a man, for that matter, without his or her knowledge a drug and then have sex with that person without consent, that’s rape. And I think this country, any civilized country, should have no tolerance for rape."
so with consent is covered in the statement.

A site I log onto twice a year because stupid regulations require me to upload a receipt is not what's going to drive me into the arms of a password manager.
I was driven in because almost every fucking website has different username/password requirements. I couldn't even remember what my id was on some sites!
-

IIRC, the current bit about Cosby and drugging women is a misreading of an old court case where he admitted giving quaaludes to three women, under circumstances that the court report didn't bother calling out are usually those leading to consensual sex with drugs to enhance the experience, i.e., something people did a lot in the 70s. But the way it was worded, you could ignorantly or dishonestly read it as he drugged women to get unconsensual sex.
-

I know. I'm getting to that point, but I'm resisting it for reasons that are probably dumb.
-
I'm using an old version of KeePassX (0.4.3) but it works on Windows and Mac. That's all I need. And it's a file that I control, so I don't have to worry about things like LastPass being hacked.
-
Is it better than having a file called 'allmysecretpasswords.org.gpg' hosted on bitbucket?
-
I thought "hunter2.passwords" was good. On SourceForge.
-
Don't worry, you'll be driven right back out the moment you have to type one of those passwords into a mobile device or game console.

Status: regretfully, I just deleted this from an email to a client, discussing an installer:
You get all these configuration screens because of choosing to do a Complete instead of a Custom install. The problem is then you have to pick the components you want from a huge list, meaning you have to know exactly what you want to pick, and that’s about as much fun as the setup for one of those old tabletop war games that use hundreds of cardboard counters, which is why nobody does it that way.
-
For the record, I thought it was disgusting that a press member asked Obama if he was going to rescind Cosby's Medal of Freedom. Jesus.
We have this thing in the US, maybe you've heard of it, it's called "presumed innocent until proven guilty". Why would you even ask that, you dipshit?

Because the so-called leadership, after decades of Gramscian damage, has convinced modern youth that the presumption of innocence is outdated.

You are wrong.
Solution on Android:
- Get encrypted online file share.
- Store KeePass database in online file share.
- Connect Android device to online file share.
- Install KeePassDroid on Android device (can't edit from mobile, but that's ok).
- Use KeePassDroid as needed.
- ???
- Profit!!!
Solution for XBox consoles:
- Get Android device.
- Set up KeePassDroid as outlined above.
- Install XBox One SmartGlass or XBox 360 SmartGlass as appropriate.
- Connect SmartGlass to console.
- Use KeePassDroid to enter passwords on console through SmartGlass app.
- ???
- Profit!!!
Solution for consoles that you cannot directly connect to with an Android device:
- Get Android device.
- Set up KeePassDroid as outlined above.
- View needed password in KeePassDroid.
- Enter password on console as usual.
- ???
- Profit!!!

There's a group of people who would like very much to have an exception for rape added to that presumption. That group includes some members of the press.
You'll notice I didn't use the word "SJW". That's because I've learned this week that people who use that word non-ironically are irremediably evil and worthless.
-
I use KeePass. While there is a version for Windows Phone, apparently when I set up my initial password database I used a very high encryption level. I copied the database to my phone and tried to open it. It sat and churned for around half an hour before finally giving up and saying the encryption was too high for my phone to open it in a reasonable amount of time.
-

I wish I could follow in your footsteps, but until an acceptable replacement term is invented, I am afraid I must continue to use the term "SJW" in a non-ironic sense so that I can efficiently and clearly convey who I am speaking about.
I apologize in advance for being irredeemably evil and worthless.
-
Was it the encryption or compression? If you selected no compression, that will sometimes affect load time. Of course, it could also have to do with the number of key transformation rounds you have specified. You should be able to adjust those settings in KeePass (File > Database Settings…).

Solution on Android:
Doesn't help me.
Get Android device.
Not gonna happen.
Get Android device.
Nuh-uh.

Store KeePass database in online file share.
OneDrive
Use KeePassDroid as needed.

OneDrive
It's apparently a (partially) OneDrive problem:
the OneDrive app ignores/filters all file extensions not in the small list of mime types built into Android and Office files.
DropBox works fine for me.

Well, given that:
- SmartGlass is available on Windows phones
- KeePass is available on Windows phones
- File sharing apps are available on Windows phones
You should be able to modify (cue

It was encryption. It's been long enough I don't really remember setting it up, but I assume I took the default key length or whatever and made it a lot longer than it really needs to be. My 4.0 GHz i5 takes around 5 seconds to open my password file, so my little ARM-based cell phone doesn't stand a chance
Actually, my Surface RT handles it fine though...takes maybe 20 seconds.

I am constantly shocked at Alexa Havins' failure to act. She makes Chakotey on Voyager look like the most magnetic personality in showbiz. Sheesh.
Oh thank God, Buenos Aires goon finally shot her.
THAT was the "twist"? Ugh. Why did I sit through almost 10 hours of that.

That's like saying "if you eat an ice cream sundae and then walk your dog for 17 minutes and 17 seconds and then you murder someone, it's murder".
-

No, the twist I was thinking of was what happened after Rex got shot.
-
I wasn't sure if you meant that or that rex injected himself with the blood. Whatever, both were lame.
God knows how they'd write another season. Lots of drama in an action show where none of the goddamned principle characters can die.

4. Install KeePassDroid on Android device (can't edit from mobile, but that's ok).
With Keepass2Android you can. It also provides a keyboard with "User" and "Password" buttons, so you don't have to faff around with the clipboard.

Took me a while to figure out why it wasn't CLI already, and why a simple terminal would not work...
