It's surprising how many studies reveal that inherent bias; it's even been found in chimpanzees
-
Surprising only to those who are certain that such differences can only come from (oppressive) socialization, and cannot possibly have any basis in biological differences (of which there aren't any, except the obvious anatomical ones, but those don't count).

And those who had simply never considered the possibility before ;)

Don't testosterone and Εstrogen levels affect the brain during development? I believe that's one of the leading theories behind why there seem to be innate differences.

tl;dr; SJWs.
EDIT: really progressives in general, not just the vocal ones

I've never met* anyone other than old schoolfriends who know what this is, though it appears it's an actual thing. This lasted about a week before being banned, about as long as British Bulldog.
*well, you know.

A variant recorded in the late nineteenth century is cock.
Emphasis WIkipedia's
-
The cock attempts to capture (or "croon" in this version) the other players by putting their hand on the non-catcher player's head.
You just wouldn't get away with it these days

Yeah, I remember playing this in elementary school.
-
@boomzilla I remember a circular version, where everyone linked hands in a circle and one person was in the middle, trying to break out.
And then sometimes everyone would decide to raise their hands above their heads and rush in to the middle, squishing the poor kid who was "it". Grade schoolers can be cruel...

Why would you do that?
He is irrational.

Given that @Boner was the topic starter, I was surprised that it took this long for that to -- ahem -- come up.

Real wood and paper cardstock for the green vane things; no plastic.
It sucked when the sticks broke off in the holes...

It could even be said he's transcendental.

I didn't have a Gameboy until years after they were cool. I lived in a Sega household, apart from these exceptions:

We always found it hard to get all the components to stay in place, and usually when the time came to set it all going things would miss their targets and have to be helped along.
I think that was part of the fun. When stuff messed up, it gave you an extra chance to survive!

Context indicates some sort of toy, perhaps wooden, possibly construction.
Could you log into your account and see what you uploaded IfI into your bucket around that time?

No, because I don't have an account, and I didn't have one in 2015 either. I linked to a picture I found with Google Image Search.

Ah. That's the danger of using things on the Internet, I suppose. Once it's on the Internet, it's there
foreveruntil the site that hosts it takes it down or goes down itself...
-
I did try going to PB itself with the URL such that it would redirect me back to the page containing the picture but all that happened was one of those shitty redirect-off-the-page ad things tried to intervene.
Good jorb, PB.
