They always seem silly on adult women though.
clearly, we haven't seen the same womans in one of those.

Ugh I hate being right.

Aww, that doesn't work.
It's OK, Blakey, you can still be my friend even if you didn't like RWBY.
-

Considering our geographic separation, probably not.
Still, all pendantry aside, I am not saying I don't check women out who are wearing them. It's the woman who makes the clothes, not the clothes that make the woman. Hell, put Scarlet Johansson in a frumpy mumu and I would still hit it.
But, I definitely think they are fairly unflattering and most women would look better in something else.

I don't even know what it is. So it's not like I like or dislike it.

It's an anime, or close enough, so I assume you wouldn't like.
-
Ok, well you said it, not me.

You'd dislike it if you knew more. You know how anime is on american TV? People who loved that completely made up, awful dialog wrote it.
However, I'd happily watch you reviewing the first episode.
-
Ok, well you said it, not me.
Don't you generally not like anime? It's a couple of dozen ~8 minute videos, starting with http://roosterteeth.com/archive/?id=7872
(I don't expect you to actually watch it, at least not at work.)

Everybody take notice that Blakey didn't deny being my friend.

Is Drax able to have friends? Maybe he did not understand the word and just ignored it?

Is Drax able to have friends?
It's not a metaphor (or simile), so we can't be sure he can't.

But...it is a human construct...
I am guessing "No".

QFTlooking at that picture again... the lower part it's a short-pant?
-
the lower part it's a short-pant?
I think it is integral to the top?
Oh well, let's use this as an excuse to post more pictures of attractive women in jumpers.

it's a dress but ends like pants.
i was originally thinking about this:

Status: I just realized through a phone call that my mind is off by a month. I keep thinking it is May 4th.
Good thing I realized the mistake now, as the wife's bday is next week and forgetting that would put me up feces creek with no means of locomotion

Status: went to Starbucks for an afternoon caffenation, ended up ordering a "smores frappacino".
This is by far the sweetest thing I've ever put in my mouth. I'm not even sure there's coffee in it. I might die from it.

When I was in NZ, there was this bakery over where we lived at one point, and I went back there one time after we'd moved. They had this interesting item: a sausage, split down the middle with a dollop of mashed potato on it, wrapped in bacon. The potato was yellow with grease. I made sure to have one.

I think I will need to put on a jumper to go outside though.

I'm in Australia; this is a jumper...

Bookmark'd in case I ever randomly walk by a Starbucks.
I need to try that.

Crap. Autolike engaged.

And we still don't know what colour it is!

-
Ok, that is cool.
But I have to call out @PJH on his spelling. What gives, mate?

Oooh! MDM and LightDM can do HTML5 themes! That would be easy to do!
Not sure about GDM and KDM though... As in, can they do something like that at all, not HTML necessarily.

Status: Discovered some Shiner Bohemian Black Lager in the fridge. Not bad at all. However, after a single beer I have concluded it's either very strong for a beer, or my liver at some point became a second pancreas to assist with my crazy sugar habit and I can no longer metabolize alcohol well.
-
What's the ABV/proof?
-
Surprisingly, the bottle doesn't actually have it listed.
-
Really? I'm not sure that's legal…
-
That's what I was thinking...

Website http://www.shiner.com/beer/black says 4.9%.
So you are uberwimpbabycry.
-
So you are uberwimpbabycry.
Probably. I probably average around a dozen beers a year.
-
Pfft.
That's how many beers a year I open up then forget to drink because I'm too drunk to remember I opened a new beer.
-
Really? I'm not sure that's legal…
Perhaps not in your nanny state, but here in the US beers are not required to list their alcohol content.
I do believe that only spirits are required to...maybe wine also?
-
Jesus christ i'll always love this song. The fucking instruments alone are fucking amazing enough. This shit, is that piff! I'm high as fuck, and the end with her voice and how the instruments just go makes my brain orgasm and melt every time. I'm addicted to being mind fucked by this song.

Jesus, was the opening dialog written by the guy who does Chinese railroad articles for CNN?
This is going to be painful, I can already tell from the first 15 seconds.
"I said, put your hands in the eye-rrrr!"
"You wanna retake that line?"
"Nah, it's... uh. It's an accent. He says eye-rrr instead of air."
"Whatever, Rooster Teeth is paying me like $6.75, let's just wrap this."
ROFL the cookies just disappear. I can't even tell if that's an animation error or some kind of joke.
Ok I lasted about 9 minutes, this is fucking terrible. Who had 9 minutes in the pool?
-

So you're OK with not knowing how strong your beer is then?

Sketching out everything I need to do to fix a bug.
A severeish but kind of rare one that involves changing lots of code in multiple places and ALTERing parts of the database.
And I have to be able to distinguish good data set by a new client from bad data set by an old client. This will be awful. And getting this wrong would be hyper-awful.

-
So you're OK with not knowing how strong your beer is then?
I've only ever looked at that stuff out of curiosity. It's never been something I really felt like I needed to know.
-
If I'm having a pint at lunch time I'll have something sub-5%, because even though something stronger will be gone by the time drive home, it still feels more responsible.

Status: Kind of wishing C# had checked exceptions right now, so I could have a bit more help tracking down a rarely-reproducible bug that throws a Sage.Common.ProgrammingByContract.PreconditionException with the message "Contract Failure: Invalid database string".
It would also be useful if Sage hadn't decided to move their SDK documentation on their website again, without telling anybody. Decompiled source is not the nicest way to work out WTF is happening

We have an issue with a mysterious FileNotFoundException in our codebase right now ...

FILE_NOT_FOUND_JOKE_NOT_FOUND
At least that gives some idea what it means. I know all the connection strings in this are correct, any other strings are going to be based on stuff that was added by the same SDK.
