My wife wants to be with me? It must be football fever.

Leaving aside, for the moment, whether that particular error was the mistyping (or swyping) of the right word or the correct typing of the wrong word, we might ponder a different question: Has @accalia made any non-empty, non-emoji-only posts that did not have any typos? If yes, evidence, please.
-
This post contains no typos or grammatical errors.

Well, then, my theory is...
"Your brain's broken!"

Mine was, "Someone figured out @accalia's password."
Mine was, "She spent three (disco)minutes typing and proofreading those eight words very carefully in order to prove me wrong." :) But yours is funnier.

You, sir, receive -1 geek point for missing the reference. (See: my avatar, some of @accalia's comments elsewhere demonstrating that she has watched the show from whence my avatar came)

Mine was, "Someone figured out @accalia's password."
no. but it did take me six tries to get that post.
-
huh.... right that is from Inuyasha.... forgot about that.
although you are wrong. i haven't seen the show, but i have read the Manga.
:-P

there are other posts around that would also have proven you wrong, it was just faster to make a new one, rather than find an existing one.

-
but only one click of the post button.

only one click of the post button.
The gods of 502 and 504 were smiling on you. It took me something like a dozen tries — I lost count just how many — to get one post into t/1000 earlier.

we have the server herpes again?

Hey look! Another one! Though it is a bit of a run-on sentence.

Hey look! Another one! Though it is a bit of a run-on sentence.
If you want a run-on sentence, I'm sure I can waffle on long enough, as I've just finished setting up my SockBot dev stuff on my laptop, although earlier I did a bit of SockBot work on my PC, and I made a pull request to help out Windows users, and I don't know if it'll be merged with the main repo, and if it isn't I don't know how that'll affect my fork, but then that's all part of the adventure, and once I've fixed all the typos where I substitute ' for ;, I'll probably go and continue writing some fan-fiction, and then go to bed in an hour or two, and tomorrow start shopping for a new car.

If it's the brand of hysteria that leads to a woman wanting more of what you offer, how the hell is that a bad thing?
Maybe it's because of what I think every time.
Why do you want to do this with me?
-
not every post is perfect
<not like this one>incidentally, why won't discourse let me post this?

The answer can be found within the question itself.
-
but you did, you did, saw that putty tat.
-
it wouldn't then it did.
turns out it was my fault though.

Your avatar looks like a random cartoon thing. I'll give you 3 more geek points if you promise to keep me ignorant.

Merely removing a source of possible ambiguity.

COMMAS..... MY GAWD [POLITICALLY CORRECT PRONOUN].
I keep getting stuck in read loops.

It doesn't have to do with a wolf that uses a sword as a metaphor for his dick?
In my head, his fighting charge really is "Fighting turns me on. Watch me grow!"
More metaphor.
Before he gets his sword, he has to use his hand.
iron reaver soul stealer!

And how does hysteresis fit into all that?
-
WHAAAAAA?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
<more descriptive>

I don't know.
I'm distracted by the fact that there's a woman that likes stuff that a bunch of guys like.
Let's bake a cake!
[no dammit, that's just awkward]
Um..... hi.....
[fuck]
-
Let's bake a cake!
hmm... a cake is too big and can't share it fairly. let's do cupcakes!
there's a woman that likes stuff that a bunch of guys like.
we're more common than you would think. ;-)

Then again, "Handgherkin" just doesn't sound right, does it?

I know, my wife is one too! That's why I married her.
[Realizes accalia didn't get offended from a guy being socially awkward around her]

[Realizes accalia didn't get offended!!!!]
of the people i have endountered in the last 15 years.... three have succeeded in that.
just three.
:-P

And how does hysteresis fit into all that?
They appear to me to be unrelated. Both derive from similar but, as far as I can tell, unrelated Greek words.
- hysteresis, from Greek ὑστέρησις (hysteresis), "deficiency" or "lagging behind"
- hysteria and hysterectomy, from Greek ὑστέρα (hystera), Ancient Greek ὅδερος (hoderos), "belly, uterus"
I haven't found anything online that traces either back to proto-Indo-European, so I can't be sure they are not somehow related, but they don't appear to me to be.
-
I know there's some dickweed guys out there that think being a guy means being a jerk, but I just wish women could recognize that most men would die to have women to share their interests.
It gets frustrating to celebrate a girl joining your crowd and watch a bunch of non-involved people get offended, because reasons.

-
Oh come on! It's not like a red fox from a japanese cartoon suddenly sprung to life, is it? Then I would understand your awkwardness...
-
TBH, I think American Football is fine as long as the American part is always prefixed.

Those are OK, but take a look at what happens at the line of scrimmage on any particular play. Or kick return. The sorts of hits in that video where guys are slow to get up are the sort where NFL players pop right back up, because they have pads and helmets.
