Cards Against Humanity is like if I got control of a successful e-commerce site
-
The company reply is the best ever.
-
Wasn't this mentioned in the bad ideas thread?
-
Who gives a shit? This is my thread.
-
Cards Against Humanity do, per your image.
-
Who gives a shit?
Can we give any sort of shit, or are you being particular about the source animal?
-
Wasn't this mentioned in the bad ideas thread?
I mentioned it in the Black Friday thread, I know that ;)
-
-
-
This is my swamp.
-
No, they're selling shit.
In return for money. Just because there's a fee doesn't mean that they're not giving something.
-
I wonder where they get their shit from?
Just saying, if I setup a website and sold some "bullshit" for a joke, I'd have no idea where to get it from if someone actually bought it. Are there poop merchants? Can I buy a 1000-Piece lot on Alibaba? Are there regulations on selling this sort of biological matter?

Perhaps even their BS is BS.

Perhaps even their BS is BS.
They have an employee that went to school for it, so they have a BS in BS BS.

Where do you live, New York City? (Get a rope!)
Pretty much every city in the United States has cattle within 60 miles of it. Perhaps EVERY city. Cow shit isn't exactly a rare commodity.

That has already been composted, i.e., broken down by microorganisms into something rather different than its original form. (It "will not burn roots;" fresh stuff will.) Although it's made from BS, if you tried to sell that as BS, I'd call that false advertising.

We can go further: The degree is from an unaccredited correspondence academy: It's a BS BS in BS BS.

This conversation isn't really productive, I feel that we're just BS'ing about a BS BS in BS BS.

Better yet, the academy is in the Bahamas and has shady accounting practices. It's a BS BS in BS BS from a school in BS with a BS BSbalance sheet.

Ok, I draw the line here. I'm not liking any more of these BS posts.

I think we can also assume that it's a Business School.
-
You're calling BS on all our BS about a BS BS in BS BS from a BS BS school in BS with a BS BS?
Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo.

blakey is going to murder us

That made me smile, but you're still not getting a like from me.

Just checked the Cards Against Humanity website and no Bullshit edition in sight.
Is this all just a marketing thing, or what gives?

They do it to protest Black Friday. Last year they just like tripled the price of the product. This year they sold bull shit and nothing else.

If it came from a diploma mill in a city in upstate New York, it might be a BS BS in BS BS from BS BS.

blakey is going to murder us
He claims to have been remarkably unruffled up thread, though.
I think he's stormed out of at least two in the last couple of days, so there might have even been rustling or ranlking.
-
Are there poop merchants?
I'm not a poop merchant but we have 3 dogs and 2 chickens. PM me for prices.

CAH used to be great until the creators caved to the SJWs.
I liked their take on buttcoins as well.

caved to the SJWs.
Like most Tumblr users, Jonah sometimes posts funny, silly, or thought-provoking things about his life in between reblogs of funny, silly, or thought-provoking things other people have posted.
Best. Joke. Ever.

The moral of the story is that friends of trans people lack a sense of humor?
-
The moral of the story is that when playing a game that derives its amusement from its offensiveness, you should expect to be occasionally offended. GTFO it.

I've used one of my blank cards to readd that one.

Yeah, that point was made in the article, but I originally decided against quoting:
Both Temkin and Jonah started getting anonymous messages from users that generally fell into two categories: 1) People who appreciated Jonah’s post and Temkin’s apology, and 2) People who were outraged that a game that’s supposed to be rude and offensive would change something just because people were offended.

I think you guys missed the part of the article where they discuss the not-cool factor when it comes to picking on marginalised minorities. Picking on Lance Armstrong because he has only one testicle is okay because he kicked cancer's arse then took a lot of drugs to cheat at cycling. Picking on a group that already suffers from bullying and has a significantly higher rate of being the victim of violent crime than anybody other than an open atheist in Saudi Arabia is not cool.
There's being offensively funny, then there's being an offensive dick. The Cards Against Humanity guys obviously understand the difference. That's not "caving to the SJWs", it's not "lacking a sense of humour", it's called being a decent human being.
-
So, another words, boomzilla is correct?
intentional!

If you lack reading comprehension you could say that boomzilla was correct, but it wouldn't make you right.
another
Wut?
intentional!
Sure. We believe you.

And why are they held to a different standard that puts them above ridicule? Isn't that supporting inequality?

Who gets to decide which is which?
That's not "caving to the SJWs"
Yes it is.
it's not "lacking a sense of humour"
Yes it is.
I have a group of friends representing most of the major ethnicities, and we all sit around playing video games making racist cracks at one another. One of the Asian guys might make a comment about fried chicken to one of the black guys, and then he'd make a retort about rickshaws or railroads. Nobody gets offended, and we all laugh because guys who know each other often give each other shit. It's fairly common behavior. We're treating each other as equals.
I'm of the opinion that laughing at these stereotypes and exposing them as arbitrary and ridiculous, while holding people in all places to the same standard will do a lot more to promote tolerance and equality than pressuring people who speak in non-PC terms to change their tune. The SJW methods are particularly egregious because they claim to be the standard-bearers of tolerance and equality, but their message seems to be quite the contrary: your credibility is inversely proportional to your "privilege."
-
your credibility is inversely proportional to your "privilege."
That basically describes the "Progressive Stack".
