The forum only has one passable poster
-
Let's all piss him off, then swap avatars would be funnier
-
tnx!
Now that was surely 17 likes well received. That was one witty answer to Jeff.
-
@PJH surely you know that raw "likes recieved" needs to be put into context.
Likes Recieved / Post Count is what really counts.
Just to to see how many people with only 1 posts have a better like/post-ratio than the regulars hereFiled Under: We also need statistics for a Filed Under-TagCloud!
-
-
I see you ran this 3 hours ago.
On a backup, not the live system - I don't have direct access to the live database.
Also, how the hell did you make that list?
Er - did you miss the the repl.it link at the end of his post?

Hmm. Something to look at when I get some time..
We should heatmap the usernames accordingly!
meta.d->Features is way.

exclude the likes thread obv - some of us are only active there when staging an invasion of other discourse instances.

If (2014-555>=2000)
Pay aliceif $2000#define - + #define aliceif LoremIpsum #define If while
-
#define 2000 2
-
That's OK. I made it a
while
loop for a reason! $2 per loop is still fine by me.
-
#define 2014 0 #define 555 -555
and now?
-
#define Pay Fine
-
Still beating you with my
#define - +
on the -555!... Do defines even work that way? Eh. This is all nonsense anyway.
-
#define Fine(a, b) {println("My, aren't you fine, "+a+"!"; mysql_real_pay(a, b);}
-
I suspect I'm on the list because I don't participate in that thread so I always have likes to give :)
-
Most of us in THAT topic haven't run out of likes in weeks.
-
We should heatmap the usernames accordingly!
coldmap. we'd rather know who we hate than who we like, so we can continue to hate on them.
-
Obviously sometimes they should be heatmapped and sometimes coldmapped, with rules to select which one that nobody else understands. Add in some common edge cases and race conditions to provide lukewarmmaps that "don't happen in real threads" where a "real thread" is defined as less than 50 posts.
-
-
Except the coldmap is based on how long the user has been a member, rather than likes received.

And if the person doesn't have a basement?
-
Admins can put in custom CSS to fix that.
-
Unless it's related to the like column?
-
We'll get to that later. No time right now.
-
Oh, so one might say it's on the roadmap then?
-
So I was looking for crazy roadmaps, came across this. Close enough.
What happens after Adjustment of status / Consular Processing?
-
I think the roadmap looks more like this:
JEFF SAYS DO IT
DONE
-
Noticably lacking is the step where you evaluate whether or not it should be done. Seems legit.
-
So it was spoken by Jeff, so it shall be done?
-
Of course all the rules should be overly complicated and completely undocumented.
-
Yes, of course. And the rules should sometimes change without warning or mention in the patch notes when the software is upgraded.
-
I think we need a forum meme something like this:
-
More A... JAX?
-
4. ender (21 likes)
We only need one more like for this comment now.
-
Except this forum is powered by AJAJ....
Asynchronous Javascript and JSON. Not XML.The fact that the term AJAX somehow became the term to mean everything Asynchronous at all regardless of technology kind of annoys me.
-
One could also argue that AJAJ stands for Asynchronous Javascript And Jeff_doesn't_get_it.
Definitely what powers this forum.
-

Pedantery! But yes, you are correct. I used the catch-all term.
-
Nonono, A JAX
-
Or it could be Asynchronous JavaScript and XMLHttpRequest but that only shifts the pedantry.
-
Jax was a beast. You could double flawless the whole game just by spamming B (i think that's the combo, it's been 20 years, so whatever). Rinse and Repeat till dead.
On second thought, I don't think there was an i think it was just forward, forward, b to do the grab punch. Then mash b 3 times to punch while holding them, and then + b to uppercut them.
THEN rinse and repeat.

He was also one of those with a move that required holding a button (C on Sega Genesis IIRC) for 3 seconds, but you could precharge that button during the countdown timer at the start of the match and instantly use it once the timer expires. Same with Liu Kang's flying bicycle kick.

Lui Kang TRICYCLE KICK OPEN FTW. (bicycle? whatever, UNICYCLE KICK FTW)
Until your friend looks over, sees you holding the button down during the start, and Block + FSCKS YOU UP.

@PJH, how are we doing now?
-
Just go to meta and suggest that they need a "TOP POST(S)" on everyone's profile so you can tell what their most liked posts are.
I think Jeff actually did intend to implement something like that but they put it off in the rush to completely rewrite the topic list ui before V1 released.
-
That sounds like work.
-
…the way opinions are expressed.
Yah, for some reason, there are people who when they receive a non-passive-aggressive response are all

Wow, I only hit the top 50 with that thread included… I'm never going to get a recording contract at that rate…
Edit:
Well maybe I've a very small chance:
"46" "313" "M_Adams"

I regularly have to correct people who use AJAX to mean 'locally modified DOM by way of JavaScript', where it doesn't even do a round-trip to the server.

I call that FAJAX1
F= Fake, of course
