@dangeRuss You don't even have to resort to alternate character sets to work this scam. In most of the popular fonts a lowercase "ell" is indistinguishable from a capital "eye".
If more people would get over their unreasonable prejudices and switch to Comic Sans, they could put a stop to this trick immediately.

@acrow I remember overhearing a couple of women talking to each other; I'd guess it was probably about 30 years ago. One woman told the other that she'd become a grandmother at the age of 32.
I had a coworker whose mother was a grandmother at 26.

@loopback0 I can just hear a voice - probably Hugh Dennis's - saying, "Have you been injured in an accident that wasn't your fault? You could be entitled to compensation."
Then I remember that 'wasn't your fault' is literally the definition of an accident, and my pendantry meter starts ticking.
Well, no. An accident can be your fault. It just means it wasn't intentional.

The eventual expansion of typing enthusiasm outside the onion-farming community spurred many further changes. The onion symbol, in particular, was stylized to the modern @ after certain events, familiar to those involved, which are not mentioned here.
TIL why onionskin paper was popular.

I would say most pets have better life than most human.
You just have to be willing to give up your gonads and be put to death at the whim of your owner. Otherwise, it's great.

Well, not the only reason or the main reason but one of the reasons.

Sometimes an upvote just isn't enough. Far too many scenes in shows and movies where they break into a place and figure out where everything is and how it works in 30 seconds.

Boris was born in the United States of America. So we had an American as England's Prime Minister. Payback for the War of 1812.

Something played with a ball and feet.
Or on foot. "Ball" does not necessarily mean sphere.

I like Canadian football. The one with weird shoes and a hooked stick to poke the ball with.

It depends.
Even if we human could be in situation of be requested to ive up your gonads and be put to death at the whim of your partner.
Not to mention that a lot of baby girls were killed after born in China because of "One child policy".

Right, because the post has no relevance any more. It was related to a specific current event that is long gone.

Fucking perverts. Why are they filming my penis?
Also, related:
I've shared quite a few of his videos in garage threads. The guy has a nerdy sense of humor that should be highly appreciated in this group. Good stuff.
-
@Rhywden and he makes tons of hilarious dick jokes. He made an oil tank for a dry sump oil system a while back and the baffles typically have holes in them and, well:
And this is a perfect example of his channel, and one of my personal philosophies.

@Polygeekery I have no inherent objection to using shop tools (or chem lab glassware) for cooking. However, the items should be dedicated for the purpose of food prep (or at least very thoroughly cleaned), not full of leftover bearing grease and metal chips.
(Yes, I know .)

That's reminds me of the story where someone stated that a soldier can be rated along two axis: Lazy or diligent, stupid or intelligent.
Lazy and stupid is better washed right out before they can do any harm. Stupid and diligent is your ideal grunt. Diligent and intelligent is best suited as a master chief or similar. And the lazy, intelligent ones you put in overall command.

Diligent and intelligent is what you call insubordinate.
