@da-Doctah “sometimes I do not” got me.
The whole thing makes her sound like she's a bit out of her mind, but then I remember her appearance on "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" where the practice was to edit random statements from the guest with joke comments from the host. While I don't know what the original context was for "I have to go to the toilet", the SGC2C people turned it into a whole routine where she was his wife calling him uninvited at work.

It does my heart good to think that future civilisations may one day discover a record of someone's drunkposting.

We already have that. It's called Germany.
-
@Rhywden Luckily, it's in German.

@topspin I'm sorry, I maxed out my letters-per-word budget half-way through.

@Bulb I'm aware of this, yes. I actually know a smattering of German, plus I've been putting points in Read Languages.

Someone could try to translate it to Polish.
But then it might suddenly become funny.

OMG that handwriting is ATROCIOUS. Even for a preschooler. Dafuq is this lowercase "a"? And do they even know what the dotted line is for? Whoever was in charge of teaching them to write should be fired immediately.

Well, yes, but actually no. There's a way to actually split German compounds into multi-word phrases, but the grammar works differently then - you have to change some letters, move some words around, and insert a bunch or prepositions. A compound word is qualitatively different.
That was your daily dose of caring about language as if it was 20th century again.

Basically this decade is going to see AI become so amazeballs that us developers will be 100x more productive and it’ll even help normal mortals get things done.
I didn’t realise GitHub Copilot was a 30%-50% productivity gain, did you?
Everyone in the world will be as capable as John Carmack is today, thanks to AI.

@Arantor Just like artists today no longer paint anything themselves, they just write prompts into an army of Stable Diffusion engines

Someone here recently said “I’m been”, so … well, I don’t know either.

@topspin Maybe Rowan Atkinson is a user and meant to say "I'm Bean".

The wages of syntax is death. Or should that be "are" death?

@da-Doctah death and syntaxes.

I've noticed this before, in every case I've noticed it appears to have been an incorrect s/being/been/. Perhaps even intentional, the way some s here like to expand 've to of to trigger people who know better. Or perhaps speech-to-text from a corrupt and degraded dialect of English.
