You have specs? We only have hundreds of Jira tickets, mixed in with other projects.
You have tickets?

(tbf, I'm not sure not having Jira is a downside)
Emails? You were lucky! We had to reverse engineer the intentions of the original developer by running a simulation of the universe, pausing it when he was writing the software and reading the undocumented internal state of his brainwaves
Isn’t there an emacs command for that?

It was accidentally discovered when someone thought they were in VIM and tried to exit. It has never been repeated again.

I'm not sure, actually, where I got that term. And you're right, google doesn't help.
What I meant was "I'm being annoyingly self-pitying, in an obvious 'look at how bad I have it, woe is me' manner". And lampshading that fact.
-
@Benjamin-Hall I wonder if it's a variant of FOMO.

No clue. I just have this mental connection between statements such as "stop being so pomo" as telling someone "stop wallowing in self-pity." It's very possible I've misremembered something and it's a phrase, acronym, or abbreviation that just sounds like that.

Status: In possession of an abundance of gluten-free doughnuts, doughnut holes, and fritters. Not as good as real doughnuts, etc., but not bad if you like cake-type doughnuts (as opposed to raised doughnuts, which I prefer, but I've never found gluten-free versions), and much better than no doughnuts, etc.
I am no longer in possession of two of the triple-chocolate doughnuts, as once a substance enters a person's body and is assimilated by it, it is no longer under the person's control (e.g., the person cannot choose to discard, sell, or give it away) and therefore no longer meets the legal definition of possession. (I.e., someone can't be charged with possession of a controlled substance based purely on the presence of the controlled substance in their blood or tissues.
They can be charged with anything, and possibly even convicted, but such convictions have been successfully appealed and overturned on this basis. NOTE: Case law in regard to this probably varies widely by jurisdiction, so unless you know for certain that this precedent holds in your own jurisdiction and any you may travel to, I would advise you not to risk testing this legal theory personally.)

Status: People that throw random items on random shelves at the store should have their hands sawed off. It has been an epidemic as of late. Today I found hair spray with ice cream cones, tuna with the soda, cereal in the freezer, and dry cat food in with the spaghetti sauce. Come on...

libigloo is a our new generic C framework. [...] It will both provide a more uniform as well as clean, and modern interface to our shared code base.
C framework is modern? I shudder to wonder what it's supposed to be replacing...

No, "because I keep getting compiler errors in C#/VB" isn't a good reason. In fact, if that is the reason, it just means we should use a duller and rustier blade to do the sawing.
