The USA reckon they've invented the chip butty in 2021...
We invented this long prior, along with the correct methods of frying potatoes.

Unfortunately, classic updoc per the French tradition is a nom de appelle

@Gribnit You know what they say, nom de appelle a day keeps the updoc away

That's what she said.
They're clearly fries though like one would get from McDonalds and not chips like one would get from the chippy.
No one's buying your "look, we have cuisine" shtick, limey. You've just taken a part of the existing fry standard and rebranded it.

Yeah but you've just taken the Nagesh standard and rebranded it

Improving upon it, in the American fashion. This axis of difference is important to keep in mind when dealing with the subjects of HM.
Since English cuisine depends on replicating dishes quite badly, it's hard for me to see from here

That's false advertising!
It's just to distinguish them from the stake fries you get at McD's.

They say that when your head is split in half with an axe, there's this burst of cool air down the middle of the brain that's just... so refreshing.

Considering that crucifixion is one of the slowest, most painful, death-by-torture forms of execution ever invented, no, I do not.
