@topspin you've finally found Earth-78 and Earth-92!

Scrolling with the trackpad, inadvertently zoomed out a bit too much on this map:
Does that look like a line of charging animals to anyone else?

Only because you pointed it out, but yeah.

Gmail changed its logo to a rainbow vomit and I hate it.

The decade of crayon design will last at least another, well, ...

Gmail changed its logo to a rainbow vomit and I hate it.
The more concerning problem is that they seem to have gotten rid of the ability to archive / delete emails from the inbox by hovering over the right hand side of the line.
-
@boomzilla They're there for me.
-
-
@boomzilla I have tabs open for two different accounts. They're there for one but not the other.
-
@boomzilla Oh A/B testing, how we hate thee,
-
@coderpatsy re-re-re-re-re-refreshed and now it's back.
-
The Firefox 82 update moved some CSS cheese in its chrome, so I had to update my userChrome.css to hide top tabs and fix the title bar again.
-
@hungrier Other than the Picture-in-Picture button, I haven't noticed any changes
-
@loopback0 I didn't see anything new either, other than my tab bar being unhidden from the top of the window.
-
@hungrier Ah, gotcha.

I think you may be spending too much time with @Polygeekery.

@hungrier I think there is a mistake, the second one should be:

I have zero graphic skills, but now I know I could recycle myself as a modern logo designer

At least the middle one didn’t get worse. I have no idea what either the old nor the new one represent.

@topspin I think it's the Abstergo logo, indicating that you can use that service to play Assassin's Creed

That's Drive, their cloud filestore stuff that as as backing store for many of their other products as well as being a thing in its own right.

@topspin "Your files are at the end of the strip."
-
@remi Your files are on the other side of the strip…
-
@dkf your files are right where you left them.

You need to switch the the C testing...
Alternatively, check that some setting didn't get un-set:

I can explain it. See how the old Docs icon is blue? Sheets' one is green and Slides' one is yellow. Go print out one of each, take a page from each document, fold them in half, and put them on your desk in an overlapped triangle shape. Now you have a bunch of wasted paper, a messy desk, and are qualified to be an icon designer.

On Steam the first game in the "New and Trending" list is tagged for nudity but they still show it by default, and with screenshots.
NSFW, natch
But if I want to just view the page for, say, Shadow of the Tomb Raider I need to enter my birthday.Go figure.
-
@loopback0 huh, didn't know they sell actual porn on Steam.
-
@Gąska I take it you don't use Steam then. (It's very hard to miss if you keep an eye on the new releases list...)
-
@Atazhaia I only ever use Steam to launch games I already own, nothing more.

How do you buy games on Steam then?
-
@TimeBandit You don't need to buy (or even play) any games to be expert on the internets. Just watch some of the modern great bastion of arts, culture, knowledge and sage advice - streamers!

@Applied-Mediocrity Yeah, but he said

It's obvious: someone else is adding games to the account.

The expression evaluates to true even if games owned count is less than or equals to zero

I buy keys in 3rd party stores.

@TimeBandit I have a box version of Counter-Strike: Source. In the instruction manual, it says that to launch the game, I need to activate the key in Steam, download the game and then click "play". Per Valve's own words, activation is officially part of launching.

I thought you objected to those sites because the keys are stolen or whatever?

@loopback0 Walmart, Target, Best Buy...

@Gąska Ah.

But if I want to just view the page for, say, Shadow of the Tomb Raider I need to enter my birthday.You have to enable Adults Only content to see those Succubus games in the lists, where Shadow of the Tomb Raider needs the Gore/Violence content setting. Not sure why they ask for one store page vs. the other unless there's different laws involved; I would have expected to give a fake birthday for both.
They could require those preview images to be safe for all viewers, but that would require policing. Ain't nobody got time for that.
