I couldn't see the text on my display, just the landforms.
Still, I saw that part and thought "That looks like someone stuck Italy on the side of the map" and I still didn't get it. I must need more coffee.I only just noticed...
that they'd moved Ireland.
And I think one of the main recognizable points that's obfuscated is that the Iberian peninsula (Spain/Portugal) is far less recognizable without the Bay of Biscay and the Gibraltar Straight.

It's 90deg rotated Europe.That's the obvious one, but I'm not sure that was it.
What happened here?
Also, the compass is oriented 90° clockwise from what it should be:
Also, the coastlines here:

@Zecc I used to do a "magic trick" back in school where you asked someone to pick a number without telling you what it is, then do a whole bunch of mathematical operations on it, and in the end you tell them what number they ended with. The "trick" was to do something that factored out their original number so it didn't matter, and most students never caught on.
I've seen something similar to prove that
1=2
... The trick being that you first assign them to variables and then one line of your proof is non-obviously equivalent to0=0
, and after that point, you can prove anything.I recall one that started with
a=b
and in the second-to-last step divided byb²-ab
Let's suppose a = b
- a = b
- a² = ab
- 2a² - 2ab = a² - ab [ +a² - 2ab]
- 2(a² - ab) = (a² - ab)
- 2 = 1
The transition from the right side of the third line to the right side of the fourth line is incorrect:
a² - ab + (a² - 2ab) = 2a² - 3ab
so then,
2a² - ab = 2a² - 3ab
2a² = 2a² - 3ab
0 = -3ab
0 = ab
∴
a = 0, b = 0

What happened here?Yes, that was it, although there's also some cutting and pasting that causes some intentional (I assume) distortion in several places.

Why would God even want a reward?
He hangs it on the wall next to his starship.
What does God need with a starship?

@error During the war, two undercover German spies walk into a nightclub. They ask the bartender:
"Two martinis, please.
-Dry?
-Nein, zwei!"
-
@djls45 said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:
a² - ab + (a² - 2ab) = 2a² - 3ab
so then,
2a² - ab = 2a² - 3ab
2a² = 2a² -32ab
a² = a² - ab
ab = 0
∴
a.a = 0Filed under: all squares are zero.

(Actually I do have a lesbian cousin. Haven't met her in ages. None of my male cousins are gay afaik, though, based off them all being married to women.)

Hence the afaik. I assume they are all straight or bi. The one I meet the most I am pretty certain does not have any repressed feelings, the ones I meet less I am more uncertain of.
