@Rhywden two words. French rap.
Cumbia villera: Carribean/techno/dance/gangsta rap from the Argentine slums.

@Benjamin-Hall Thankfully, Dutch Western (or Country) does not seem to exist. The closest I came is this:

Now I'll probably have to sanitize my YouTube recommendations.

You must not be a proper American then. Everyone knows that real Americans are super fat and ride on "mobility scooters."
I must be really tired if I'm spending this much energy on bad trolling attempts. Internal censor malfunction detected.

In all seriousness, I've been asked by well-meaning friends if I'm anorexic multiple times throughout my life. No, I'm not; I just have a really high metabolism.

You and my brother. He could go on a straight junk-food diet without exercise and stay skinny. I hate people like that.

@Benjamin-Hall I do gain weight if I don't take care of myself; just not very quickly.

The new aluminum-bodied F150's can't support an average American because of the weaker metal. Better to use a steel-bodied Chevy.

I'm American, too, USAian even, and I also mass less than 100 kg. I can't seem to get below 80 kg, though. I seem to be mostly stuck between 81 and 82; I checked just now — 81.9.

@HardwareGeek Diet and exercise, my friend. Diet and exercise. It's a clichè because it's true. I lost a noticeable amount of weight simply be switching from being a total couch potato to a couch potato who works out at the dojo multiple times a week.

It's actually mostly the diet if you want to lose weight. Exercise is for getting / keeping healthy (it will also increase your metabolic rate but that's not as big a factor as the diet).
-
Did I miss some previous jokes or was using “mass” as a verb instead of “weigh” just spontaneously created in this thread?
INB4 weight is measured in N instead of kg.

I've heard that, and I've seen articles purporting to prove it mathematically, but it does not track with observed reality for me at least. My weight goes up or down in direct correlation to how much exercise I'm doing.

That's why I said "mostly". Again, please read what I wrote. If you want to lose big amounts of weight and keep them lost you have to change your diet. Also, anecdotal evidence counts for shit, sorry.

INB4 weight is measured in N instead of kg.Physicists use "mass" as a verb all the time. You mass that object (to emphasize that you want kg, not N). Saying that you weigh 100 kg is just...wrong.

@Rhywden said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:
Hmm...
At the end of the 45-minute workout, my body was dripping with sweat. I felt like I'd worked really, really hard. And according to my bike, I had burned more than 700 calories. Surely I had earned an extra margarita.
Something's very suspicious about that. Your average person burns somewhere around 2000 calories per day. 1/3 of that in 45 minutes... admittedly I'm no expert in the field, but that just sounds wrong. More likely, the bike was reporting bad data.
-
@Mason_Wheeler Rule of thumb (which might be grossly wrong, but it’s questionable if the bike has much more personalized data than age/weight either) is about 600 calories an hour for biking at normal speeds. So that sounds too much.

Hint:
Does that mean they have to repeat every verse in English with the same verse in French?

The exercise you're doing is weightlifting?

@Zecc Shaolin kempo, actually. 1-2 hour sessions of intense physical + mental training. Leaves me exhausted and dripping sweat each time, but in a good way.

Negatory. The exercise is good for my health but doesn't do much for my weight. You guys are both wrong and unfunny.

@Atazhaia I'll see your Japanese boy band rap and raise you Chinese rockabilly.
I actually have the seven tracks on their "Lucky 7" EP but their only presence on YouTube is a scratchy two minute concert clip that doesn't do them justice:

Wouldn't call that much of an "interesting music mix", sounds just like Backstreet Boys would after taking a few lessons of Japanese.
