I guarantee you that someone does. I bet you don't even have to dive too deep in the internet.

The game on the TV is The Chase.
The names of the contestants allude to Ricky Gervais and Peter Kay.

You lie.
Gervais worked initially in the music industry, attempting a career as a pop star in the 1980s
Kay has written, produced, and acted in several television and film projects, and authored three books.

Paging @pie_flavor

@topspin Is that a Phantom Tollbooth reference?

@pie_flavor Those books never existed on 47.

@pie_flavor No idea, just reminded me that you have to do those online exercises.

I used to drive by a different Dunn Lumber (based on Google street view, that appears to be Bellevue) every day, and they changed their signs about every week or so. There were many worthy of being posted here, if I'd been able to take a picture while accelerating onto the freeway.

@Gribnit You are rapidly killing the joke.

@pie_flavor Well, someone has to put the poor thing out if its misery!

But there's more to it than that. If you are to wash it inside out, the only way you would have to remove the child first would be if he was wearing it inside out.

Can't find the article again, but it was in Dutch anyway.
So there's a series of strikes with roadblocks in France the last few days causing quite some annoyance to people trying to actually use the roads.
The article described a group of opponents of the roadblocks going undercover and distributing soup to the strikers.
Soup laced with laxatives.

Prevents turning the child inside out, otherwise.

Then they should tell you that before telling you to wash it inside out.

Holy shit, I'm surrounded by saboteurs!
There's a lot of gems in there. My favorite right now is, "Give lengthy and incomprehensible explanations when questioned." I have encountered that a lot. I do not know if sabotage was/is the intention.

Probably not being USian helped a lot.
Not watching TV for the last 15 years might have been a factor too.Have my doubts as to whether the story is true. Seems like far too much of a coincidence that a wrong number would just happen to lead to the perfect place.
Though I'm probably ing .

Just like "do I look fat?" "does this dress fits me?", " am I insane for...?"
For at least the first and third, exaggeration might get you out alive and discourage similar games. "Enormous!!!" and "Absolutely!"

Now when people ask me what forum I post to, I can say "the one full of the howling baboons who don't have the common courtesy God gave a rattlesnake". Then seppuku right in front of them.
You are well-known for your classiness. I really don't know how you put up with the rest of us.

I never quite got the timeliness imperative. I'm only a part-timer here, (and have been since ~ 2008), so I think it will take me a while.
