ipconfig /flushdns
?Didn't help. However, /registerdns did. Because raisins.
Oh. Makes sense. That's.... Logical?
It should have already been registered though. At least, that's what the DNS console said. Nothing changed in the DNS. But that's the command that "fixed" it.
I've seen that kind of behavior before when DHCP manages to update the DNS A record but not the PTR (or vice versa) on lease refresh.

@tsaukpaetra if you use for..in you need to use hasOwnProperty too otherwise it will iterate over inherited members (but Google probably told you that). Depending on browser support you need, you could use Object.keys or Object.entries instead.

Yeah, the problem I think is that I'm treating JavaScript like PHP here (guess what language I've been wallowing in lately?) and assumed.
AFAIK this won't have any inherited properties, it's just a string/Date pair for a bunch of submit axioms that got delayed from whatever network error reason.

Hey everyone, when you're done with a RDP to one of our customer's servers, please remember to log out!
np, I do that all the time....
Time to log out. { Logout} Done.
...
Time to log out! uh, what the fuck is this fullscreen tile bullshit? Where's my Start Menu? Oh fuck, this is this Metro bullshit, isn't it? Fine, fine, what's in the top corner?
You have "Lorne Kates and "
Okay, well, obviously I want to disconnect, so I'll hit
Your choices are "Disconnect, Shut down and Restart"
Well I sure as fuck don't want to shut down or restart a production server. Why do I even have those options? This better be their IT department messing up permissions, and not a stupid Windows thing. Anyways, "Disconnect"
Bye*poof*
...
Hey Lorne please remember to log off of next time you RDP to it. I needed to kill your RDP session via task manager.
I did. Weird....
Well, I've just connected to that same customer, finished my work, and time to log off. I'm going to pay extra attention to my logoff.
You have "Lorne Kates and "
I'll click then Disconnec-- oops, stupid mouse slipped and I clicked , I don't want to edit any of my user account settings, so I'll just click somewhere else-- what
Your choices are "Lock" or "Sign Out"
....
....
....
....
....
.... fuck you you fucking stupid motherfucking asshole shitfuckers. You goddamn idiots take away all textual cues and move everything around, because "lol easier grumpy cat!", and then you take the icon that means "here be your account settings", and hide the fucking Log Out option there? Not under the "power" settings where every other goddamn version of Windows has had it? And to top it off, you put a motherfucking "DISCONNECT" option there, which sounds like it SHOULD be logoff (because you're expecting Log Out there, and you also expect Microsoft to change wordings of things for no reason).Fucking hell.
-
@lorne-kates Is this a Windows 8 thing?
10 does indeed group all account-related things under your user icon and the power related things under the power button, but the right click menu for the start button may be convenient for you.

Yes, it's a Windows 8, 8.1, Server 2012 thing.

It is.
Of course, Disconnect does exactly what it sounds like it does - it disconnects your RDP session without logging you out. But yeah, the actual log-out option is hidden for stupid reasons. They fixed that in 10/2016

Status: Apparently Powershell lets you use variables that haven't been declared in any meaningful way, so the following isn't a syntax error:
$StorageContext = (Get-AzureRmStorageAccount -Name $StorageName -ResourceGroupName $StorageResourceGroup).Context Remove-AzureStorageBlob -Context $StoreageContext -Blob $BlobName -Container $ContainerName
Nope, instead I just get
Get-AzureStorageBlobContent : Could not get the storage context. Please pass in a storage context or set the current storage context.

Status: So, tomorrow morning I'll do that supervision thing where I watch another teacher and afterwards talk to him or her about the shown performance.
Naturally, I have next to no information about the teacher, the lesson or anything really, save for time and location. I only know that due to the type of school, the subject of the lesson will most likely be nothing I usually come in contact with (i.e. nothing related to science).
I also don't really know on which criteria I myself will be judged.
And, for the pièce de résistance, I haven't really had the chance to practice something like this because a) the likely colleagues I could visit all have their lessons at the same time as me and b) due to my subjects I don't really get teachers-in-training I could supervise.
In essence: A bit nervous. I don't really like exam situations where I don't know what I'm getting into.

I have three virtual hosts, vhost1, vhost2, and vhost3. I hit something that should exist on vhost1 and I get a 404. That's weird...
Check the access logs on Apache and the request shows up in vhost2's access logs:
<remote IP> <local IP2> <remote IP> HTTP/1.1 - GET 404 [20/Mar/2018:13:39:42 -0600] - /resource/ "-"Well, that's weird. I must have my IPs mixed up, so I swap IP1 and IP2 in the Apache configuration and bounce. Hit it again and I still get a 404.
It's still in vhost2's access logs.

Uh huh... That's not working I guess, but why is it error 193? Is it forcing cmd.exe to be running in 32-bit mode or something?
Edit: And even stranger, another machine reports a different error number...

Just tried from a site that should be able to hit all three vhosts and used a URL that would identify which one I was trying to hit.
Turns out? Looks like things are being routed:
Commercial Internet:
vhost1 -> VIP 1 -> Apache IP 1, 2
vhost2 -> Not resolvable
vhost3 -> Not resolvablePrivate network:
vhost1 -> VIP 2 -> Apache IP 2
vhost2 -> VIP 3 -> Apache IP 1
vhost3 -> VIP 4 -> Apache IP 1What in the everliving name of fuck have the comms engineers done to my environment. It's supposed to be VIP 1 -> Apache IP 1, VIP 2 -> Apache IP 2, VIP 3 -> Apache IP 3. Note that nothing's hitting Apache IP 3 right now. And there's not supposed to be a difference between Internet and private network (no VIP 4). This is not a difficult configuration to implement. And it's one that was supposed to exactly mirror an existing environment, so there's no excuse for them screwing it up this badly.
Edit: Also, there are two Apache servers; I've confirmed nothing at all is going to the second. I am going to rip puppies in half with my bare hands.
