The Lost&Found game thread (Blakeybait ahoy!)

The game is simple: post a description of some weird or unique item (fictional or historical) that's (notionally) shown up in the WTDWTF lost and found box. The rest of us try to answer where it is from and/or whom it belongs to. Think the old Warehouse 23 website as a forum game.
I'll start with this (which admittedly, I've used in version of this game elsewhere):
An extremely large Japanese sword. It looks impressive at first, but somehow seems more and more disappointing the longer you look at it. Wielding it makes you feel like someone has made you their bitch, but somehow, not in the way it was intended to.

@scholrlea That's gotta be a Daikatana.
A pair of pants. When you look inside the pants, you can see strange scenes at the end of each pants leg. Down one side, you see Hitler becoming a modestly successful painter who joined a few student rallies in his youth. On the other, Hitler shoots himself in 1945 after WWII goes badly for him.

This represents the Bifurcating Trousers of Time, yes?
-
@pie_flavor Indeed! What item have you found?

What game is that from?

A vest, made from the pelt of some animal. The outside, rubbed one way, is very soft, but rubbed the other way, causes the fur to bristle into painful needles. It smells very faintly of sausages.
-
@masonwheeler It's from the Discworld series, by Terry Pratchett. (It's definitely in Jingo; it's cropped up a couple of other times, but I can't recall where.) Book series, not game.
-
@pie_flavor that sounds like it's made of hammelhorn fur. Maybe it belongs to Twig? (Edge Chronicles)
A bronze earring, silver plated but most of the silver has worn off. It has no back, the pin just bends down at the back.
-
@carrievs Vin's earring from Mistborn?
-
@jaloopa Yes! What did you find?
-
A large chest. It smells of camphor wood. There is a hole cut out of the back in the shape of a guitar
-
@jaloopa Ah, that belonged to Arnold Rimmer, didn't it?
-
@gordonjcp It did indeed. I also would have accepted Alexander the Great's chief eunuch.

Offtopic, but that was probably the best episode ever, IMO.
Filed under: Still can't understand why "Back to reality" was voted as the best according to DVD extras, I'm blaming the fact that people might've thought there won't be any Dwarf after that so it had an impact regardless
-
@gordonjcp What have you found?
-
@carrievs Got it in one.

Restart...
A strip of an odd, plastic-like paper. Printed on it are the words, "Vous allez adorer Virginia vingt et une minutes de plus".
(And yes, I used Google Translate for that. However, the fact that it is a machine translation is actually something of a clue - it is probably a better translation than the one in the original, really.)
-
A limestone statue. Upon closer inspection, it turns out the statue is a statue of itself, with just under fifty images of the statue engraved, embossed, or otherwise detailed onto it.
-
A golden statuette, of a man with a mustache and cowboy hat. It faintly glows.

Does he also have Australia-shaped chest hair?
-
@ben_lubar Ah, I see you've got it.
Funny, I never actually put together that it was shaped like Australia.

Funny, I never actually put together that it was shaped like Australia.The statuette is actually made of Australium, which is similar to gold, but it has kangaroos wearing boxing gloves in its nucleus.
-
@ben_lubar I know; that's why I said golden instead of gold.

A droste statue?

A recently-made example of fine Canadian taxidermy. It probably ought to be on a lower shelf.
-
A wooden crate with a blurred label of which only a picture of a stringed instrument can be made out, and a pink post-it note with the words "#1 Kissboy" written in purple ink. Inside, there are several rubber erasers, a random assortment of makeup kits, and broken chains with pink metal valentine hearts welded to them.
-
A 160 cm long staff, covered in odd runes and what appear to be glowing green gems embedded in it. It has a 15 cm long elongated octahedral headpiece, such that it resembles a stylized diamond (as in the card suit) from the side. When examined, the 'runes' proved to be extremely elaborate nano-circuitry of unknown purpose. It seems to cause distortions in spacetime when held. Oh, and look out for the dragon.
-
A hot pink Hummer H1 modified to be a convertible. The floors and back seat are covered in used condoms, half-eaten pizza crusts, assorted beer, wine, and liquor bottles, torn mens' underwear, and empty candy boxes. An orange mask and black cowl is carelessly stuffed into the glove compartment, and behind it is an unlabeled VHS tape.
-
A pair of talking laser pistols, fitted for hands other than a normal human's. They seem a bit mopey.
