Even if you lock down the HID interfaces to the point where only your mouse and keyboard work the mouse jiggler should work since it acts as a standard HID mouse. At least mine does.
indeed. you have to lock it down to the point that only one speciffic mouse and keyboard work, and that is a rightpain in the ass to do as microsoft doesn't want you locking the human out of their computer.

Ah, locking it down to a particular vendor and product ID? I can't even imagine the support burden that would cause, but it's possible. I may check out my jiggler tomorrow () and see what it identifies as ().
Looks like it doesn't pretend to be another product. VID 0x0E90, PID 0x0045. Shows up in one of last year's DEF CON presentations about mouse jigglers.

@hungrier Well, it's a good thing I made sure to replace the pre-installed 32-bit Firefox with the 64-bit version so it could use more than 4GB of RAM. :P

@tsaukpaetra Basically, text directly at the center of my vision is fine, but even slightly off, the top of letters have orange aliasing, and the bottoms have blue. It's fairly annoying. The non-blurred zone is very small.

Status: Waiting for a call from the delivery crew for my new washer and dryers. They left themselves a nice 4-hour window (1:30 PM -- 5:30 PM). Thankfully school meetings don't start till next week, so I can be home all day. I don't envy them carrying them up the flight of stairs, as the laundry hook-ups are on the 2nd floor of my townhouse.

Oracle, what in the flying fuck is wrong with you? Why can't you give me a remotely comprehensible error message?
-
@heterodox I had the same error earlier today. I looked it up and apparently it applies to long-running queries, which doesn't help me any because AFAIK none of the queries that could have been going on when that error happened are long-running or slow.

Well, I had a batch job running for over an hour, though it probably didn't have any queries that would have run for that length of time. I think I just need to increase my undo size, though the references for doing so are fairly incomprehensible.

Shame is a stupid social construct meant to oppress and control.

I'm glad i decided to do away with the concept.

Okay, I'll give Oracle this: It's actually really helpful if you know what tools to use/where to look.
Tells me exactly what to do, with numbers. Did a lot of shuffling of data files among disk partitions, freed up a hefty chunk for the new undo tablespace, and things seem to be chugging along fine (for now).

Turns out there's a few false positives. Still, even one undisposed proxy instance is one too many.
