These Chinese knockoffs are hillarious

They sell phencyclidine in bulk?

Was once waiting to check out in a CVS with some friends and spotted a big display of black cans with
1 0 L I V E S
printed on the labels. I thought "that's funny; they don't understand the significance of nine lives for cat food, so they just picked a nearby number for their knockoff". I picked up one of the cans for a closer look, and saw that the 1 at the beginning was missing. "Oh, this is really rich; they just took the nearest character on the keyboard and came up with 'zero lives', implying that your cat will be dead if it eats this."I showed the can to one of the people I was with and said, barely suppressing an outright laugh: "look at this". She got a funny expression and said "I don't get it; what am I supposed to notice about this can of OLIVES?"

[NE]W VERSION CONVULSION ENTER
I don't care if it's a new version; I don't want to enter convulsions.

That's not surprising.
They have whole mall sized markets of "artists" cloning classical paintings.
That's their art school too. Clone this and that classical painting. The original artists are probably crying.
I know I would be, if I had painted something like that, and my descendents only ever spent artistic talent on copying it.
But that's what happens when you dull critical thinking, creative thinking goes out with it.

The original artists are probably crying.
More likely they're dead.

Or maybe I just have a dirty mind... but then it has been a while since I last dusted it.
It took me a moment to parse what you actually meant. My first thought was that it had been a while since you dusted your labia.
-
The original artists are probably crying.
In many cases, the original artists got good enough to have their works hung in museums by doing the exact thing you're complaining about here. The difference is they eventually moved on to original work.

I find the text under the title just as funny: "FILLED, BLENDED AND OLDED...". I'm pretty sure that's their replacement for "aged".
-
Wait... labial... blended...

i agree with your reaction.
in fact:
Now that that's out of the way, why do the O's in your reaction look so wrong?
they look like they're tilted over to one side.

Yeah, that just doesn't work for "o"s. s , now, are beautiful.

They are, sort of; the font matches the official logo:

Speaking of which, I've been playing the sonic version of temple run on the train. Definitely better than the real one.

Sonic Dash? Yeah, it is quite good, although Red Rings could be more frequent. Also, someone didn't really think about how Amy and Cream are dressed; still, they managed to get extended upskirt shots of a 12yo and a 6yo past the censors, so credit where it's due and all that.

You're grossly underweighing the importance of that.

What's with these ages? I was playing games with both of them in them over a decade ago. If I ever get to the point of unlocking characters, I'll go for the purple one or the red one.

I wonder if it's the same in Japan... I only recently realized when rewatching Digimon in Japanese that they messed everyone's ages up horribly in the translation.
In the original, everyone was in elementary school, but they increased their ages to middle school in English. Then in the second one, Joe, since he's the oldest, was in high school, and the rest of the old characters were in middle school, and the new ones were in elementary. They again randomly upped all of those a level in English, so Joe was in university.
Which causes a slight discontinuity, if they ever translate the series of movies that's on the way, since now Joe is actually in university, and the rest of them are actually in high school.

Yep (年齢 is the age field).
And Cream.Edit:
Wherever Once convinced, chase Sonic is today also today, a girl who fall in love with love. Girlfriend of the self-styled Sonic.

Please tell me that last part was sarcastic.

Please tell me that last part was sarcastic.
Well, it's either that, or a comment on how inconsistent censors can be; either reason works ;)

Blaze the Cat for best Sonic character!
I'm afraid i will have to disagree with you on that score, but then i'm not exactly unbiased in the matter either.

Blaze the Cat for best Sonic character!
She not only died, but due to time-stuffs, she never even existed in the first place.
DISQUALIFIED.

Not even China is immune to Chinese copycats.
Two of many (shout out to Splendid China in Florida).

This is the proper way to do it:
Step 1: Create detailed knockoff of American made guitar. Including logo, no made up names.

Step 2: Don't forget the Made in USA stamp

Step 3: Sell it for 1/10 the price of the real thing, with free shipping from China.

Eh. Las Vegas has a fake New York in it.
Just comes with being a large country.

My brother imported a £250,000 machine from China. It came with a Tool Kit - one of those little things that sweeten a deal.
On the first use of the screwdriver from the tool kit to open a service hatch (INB4: Right tool for the job) I offered it up to the first screw and turned it 90° The screw did not turn, the tip of the screw driver did.

People buy knockoff toys knowing they are knockoffs. The originals are too expensive.

We got given a Woody and Buzz Lightyear toy set from Hong Kong and they are not quite right.

A lot of the cachet of a designer brand comes from it being something that people aspire to have but (mostly) can't afford.

I'm surprised that no-one has posted Ashen's review of the PCP station yet:
