RE: German Humor Orbital Canon
We are slowing moving away from the sun, the days are slightly longer now than they were 71 million years ago.

This would never happen in the US. Footballs here don't really inspire kicking.
Oh, they inspire it, we just know better:

Yeah, the looks you get when you order 'thai hot' (or any other authentic hot dish) and then proceed to enjoy it are great.

@dcon Yeah, if you see a snowplow ahead, slow down stay behind. Keep enough distance, possibly even the 2 seconds that are commonly recommended for all situations, since the salt they are spraying behind them is bad for your car.
There is still a lot of sand layed down as well, it isn't all just salts.

@DogsB In 2023, 14589 games were released on Steam. That's 40 a day, every day of the goddamn year.
There's no meaningful way to review that many things.
True, but how meaningful of a review do you really need for the myriad of games of the style: 'XXX current_year'?
Edit:
Thinking about it, sites like Kotaku review a little bit of everything so 40 a day seems a bit much. But there are plenty of places to find reviews for specific genres of games. Which substantially reduces the number of games that need to be reviewed on a daily basis.

Remember to do your side windows, rear window, and exterior mirrors as well, and remove any significant layers of snow from both the hood and the roof.
This is all you need.

RE: Florida Man goes to...
Vent pipes are common nesting areas for many animals and can result in full blockages.
They don't mention where this is in Florida (the picture is from a store in Boston) so I have no idea where it is. But the store could be on a septic system or in a area that still uses clay pipes for sewer. Septic systems can get explode if they fail. Clay pipes are notorious for allowing vegetation to grow in the lines and causing extreme blockages which could easily allow for enough pressure to build it.
As for the injury, it isn't stated in the article and when asked about it the mans lawyer declined to comment, so it could simply be that he got shit in his eye (which can do serious damage, not belittling that) but doesn't require the toilet to literally explode either.
It could also be that it caused him to slip and fall from the shock of it all and he injured himself in the fall.

@Gustav You give me a median-separated, well-connected network of cycling paths, and I'll get out of your way. Maybe some other car drivers will join me, leaving more space for you on the road.
We did that and cyclists are still all over the roads, fuck-em.

RE: ๐ The Evil Ideas thread
Idiots don't operate mills for very long, they either break the mill or themselves pretty quickly.

RE: ๐ The Evil Ideas thread
Only an idiot would pick that up and not notice that it is substantially lighter than an actual endmill of that size.
