Fair. I wonder how the deceptive advertising case went.

This reads as a vaccination against veganism.

Have I posted "Shit on a Shingle" yet?
-
@LaoC "Creamed chipped beef on toast" doesn't sound bad, but that looks like it's been sitting on that plate for a few too many days.

Looks like it's pretty much the intended presentation. Some just go more in the direction of diarrhea while others emphasize the pus.
-
@LaoC Even with the best preparation and presentation, it ain't exactly gourmet food, but it helps if it isn't green. That's the biggest thing wrong with that particular photo. Other photos don't suffer from that unpleasant color cast. I'd eat the food in some of the other photos (if it weren't for the gluten).

Shit on a Shingle
I think I would be somewhat worried if my shit looked like this.
And no, by "like this" I don't mean "on toast and on a plate."

My mother and I used to play "what's the ugliest thing they sell in this store?" when we went grocery shopping. Gave it up when it developed that celery root was winning every time.

Plus side, it makes a nice cheap Sibriex (Obyrith, CE - LoM) miniature. Large miniature.

@boomzilla good time to repost this:
-
Made and sold in the USA, Lil’ Nitro measures 9,000,000 on the Scoville scale, a scale used to measure the heat of chili peppers. Put into context, that’s 900 times hotter than a jalapeno and more than five times hotter than a Carolina Reaper. It comes with a “cool shield foil wrap” and an ice pack to ease the pain (because you’ll need it).
-
@boomzilla still nothin' compared to Lil' Glassy.

Pure capsaicin is around 16M SHU, so this baby would have to be 56% capsaicin of total weight. Alas, that 9M SHU chili extract is way down the list of ingredients between flavoring and food color; I'd be surprised if it had more than 200k overall.
Also, not enough crack.

Also, not enough crack. You are assuming that the entire thing is hot, which is likely incorrect. A lot of 'foods' like this are a coating on the outside of the item that are the bulk of the heat with the rest of the item being of only moderate warmth. I have no doubt that it is not 9 million SHU, I would however, think it could easily pass your 200k mark.

Well, you see the size they're going for - can't hit that kind of market weight on just natural feed.

We need Usenet-style crossposts so I don't have to decide between here and the Targeted Advertising Fails thread.
