StackOverflow Alternative

Now that StackOverflow is self-destructing, it seems to me that it would be a good time for someone to create a competitor. I don't have the time or the patience to do that. But I am curious, if you could design a competing site, what would it look like? What would you do different?

@slapout1 Remove pretty much all gamification. Write a CoC based off common sense. Not removing/editing questions and answers without very good reason to do so.

Yes, but we don't have any way to mark questions as duplicates and shut down down conversation about it.

@error unlikely. Lots of the people in there are extreme fsf types. I don't think those tend to approve of fun, because it might not be licensed permissively enough.

Well..... I know how to deal blackjack..... and i do enjoy that, quite a lot really, but i made a promise to my brother to stay out of the family business so I couldn't accept any payment for that.

Well, within a couple posts they're not duplicates anymore and we've answered an entirely different (unasked) question!

To be fair, this happens on SO as well. The process is a bit different at times (i.e., edit question into oblivion, or just straight up ignore parts of it).
