@Carnage seriously, what else did you expect? He is posting a link to a dating site that he built. A 502 is the second best thing you could have hoped for, right behind a 404.
-
@Polygeekery Didn't really expect much.
-
…oh. It was only when I was about to state what you'd succeeded in making that I realised the joke.

...the only thing he's succeeded in making for me was a 502 error page...
well I mean when I try to submit the form, I get a 502 error.
-
@brie Submitting adds that date to the top after a refresh.

It is ISO 8601 unless your computer is bad
2019-W10-6 is a valid date according to ISO 8601

But we need a CDN for a 803 byte document.
And fucking seriously, how the hell is Cloudflare so widely used when it's the biggest most error-prone goddamn piece of shit ever?
-
Tried to submit a date later than the year 10000 and it fails.

All websites I make employ the very simple solution of handling errors by forwarding

I can input with the keyboard just fine and I'm using the latest version of Firefox (actually second latest because that recent update didn't have anything worth updating for)

FF Mobile. Tap the box. Calendar UI shows and doesn't accept keyboard input. (The OSK hides / doesn't show)

I got a double date.

wait wtf-- I only get the CloudFuck error if the date I enter causes an error?
I don't get a handled error ont he page. I don't get an exception error from blubar's server. I don't get an error from Apache.
I get a NETWORK error because of data on a page?!?!?!?!??!?!
-
@Lorne-Kates Can confirm. I entered a perfectly cromulent date and I get a network error.

502 Bad gateway means the server at the end returned an invalid response. Maybe the server did?

var year = 0; var month = 0; var day = 1; var date = new Date(year, month, day); var dateString = ""; const url = "https://ben.lubar.me/dating-site/submit"; const POST = "POST"; const DateEqualsPost = "date="; do { date = new Date(year, month, day); if(date.getMonth() != month) { month++; day = 1; } if(month > 11) { month = 0; day = 1; year++; } date = new Date(year, month, day); dateString = date.toISOString().substring(0,10); var request = new XMLHttpRequest(); request.open(POST, url, false); request.send(DateEqualsPost & dateString); day++; if(day > 2) { year = 10001; } } while (year < 10000)

FuckitFox mobile is latest.
I used to use FF23, until upgrading to FF28.
But then everyone switched to TLS1.2, so I switched to Palemoon.
Of which I'm running Latest. Nyah.

The server will return a 502 if you make an invalid submission right now because it just kills the request in the tiny server implementation I wrote.
Cloudflare replaces the generic 502 error page with one that explains where the error happened.

request.send(DateEqualsPost & dateString);
maybe don't try to do bitwise AND on two strings?
