Somebody did link a screenshot of an Amazon review
OMG: That's only about 1/3 of the review. It's the first review listed in the link I posted.
That review is pure fucking gold.

Well, since the uncooked sausage didn’t work, I figured I should try a cooked product covered in pancake batter. I chose the Gerber® Graduates® lil’ sticks® meat sticks, which are chewed up and reformed meat sticks for babies (yes, it really has that many registered trademark symbols). The front of the jar says it’s turkey with canola oil, but the first two ingredients are pork and beef, so they’re lying to you and your children.
They're also trying to kill your baby, because those "meat sticks" are just the right diameter to get wedged into a baby's respiratory system, and they used (maybe still do in the US?) some food colouring for the "skin" that caused it to stick to mucous membranes.
There has been several cases of babies actually dying because of that, to the point where manufacturers here have apparently now added a warning on the package saying that you should cut them in half length-wise before giving it to babies.

No, I found one of its agent's hands!

@boomzilla doesn't anything carbonated curdle milk?
ISTR that carbonated water is acidic and acid curdles milk...
Though I have no idea if 7-up is acidic (despite being obviously carbonated), maybe it isn't, or maybe there's something else in there that balances the effect.
-
@remi I believe that might be exactly the desired result.
Now, naturally formed curd from raw milk isn't bad. And freshly made warm cottage cheese is great. YMMV and all that.
Faking the process using pasteurized milk and lemon juice, vinegar or other food acids might be... suboptimal. Very.

Though I have no idea if 7-up is acidic (despite being obviously carbonated), maybe it isn't, or maybe there's something else in there that balances the effect.
According to one anonymous internet source, the pH of 7-up is about 6.7, so very slightly acidic. According to an answer on the cooking SE, curdling happens around pH 4.6, so much more acidic than 7-up. (Also, milk itself has a pH of about 6.5, so even more acidic than 7-up.)
-
So... who is going to try it?
-
-
@MrL Even if I wanted to (nope!), I don't think I could. I can't remember seeing 7-up on store shelves in many years. Sprite and other lemon-lime sodas, yes, of course, but 7-up® brand lemon-lime sodas, no. I could try it with Sprite, of course (nope! to that, too), but it's sweeter and a different composition (sodium citrate vs. potassium citrate), so the outcome might be different.
-
@HardwareGeek I thought sprite : 7-up = coca cola : pepsi cola?
-
@topspin More or less (7-up is the same company as Dr. Pepper, not Pepsi), but they have slightly different composition. The ingredients in 7-up are (from memory of looking at the nutrition info online a half-hour or so ago) basically carbonated water, HFCS, citric acid, potassium citrate, natural flavors, and preservatives. Sprite is similar, except it uses sodium citrate instead of potassium citrate, and it comes below "natural flavors" in the ingredient order. (I would assume the composition of "natural flavors" is different, too, but they're not required to reveal that, and I assume they consider it a trade secret.) My personal belief, based on taste, not analysis, is that the amount of HFCS is higher in Sprite than 7-up.

On that note, @topspin, please send me over some of that cucumber, mint and aloe pop. No
:tro:
. Ok, maybe half or 2/3:tro:
, but that's it. Didn't take much note of the label. Haven't seen anywhere else (not that I've been much anywhere).:tro:

So... who is going to try it?
No soda or milk in this house. (I do have 1/2+1/2...) Damned diabetes...

@Applied-Mediocrity probably not what you mean?

@HardwareGeek I thought sprite : 7-up = coca cola : pepsi cola?
That's true in that those are each company's respective lemon-line sodas, but like Coke and Pepsi, they are made differently and so may react differently to milk.
-
@topspin What does that drink have against limos?

Wrong. As already noted, 7Up is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper. Pepsi's lemon-lime soda is the abomintaion known as Sierra Mist.
but like Coke and Pepsi, they are made differently and so may react differently to milk.
This part is accurate.

@abarker To be fair to me, 7-Up is bottled by Pepsico outside the US.

I don't know about overseas, but in the US there is a difference between "bottled by" and "owned by". Most sodas here are bottled by a local company, and it's very common for the can/bottle to say "Bottled by {X}" or "Bottled by {X} under the authority of {Y}". Some bottlers even have contracts with all the major brands (Coca-cola, Pepsico, Keurig Dr Pepper, ...).

https://www.health.com/mind-body/chlamydia-in-lungs-vaping
Not the STD kind, actually, but still...
There are actually three different types of chlamydia that can infect humans: Chlamydia trachomatis (C. trachomatis), Chlamydia pneumoniae (C. pneumoniae), and Chlamydia psittaci (C. psittaci). C. trachomatis is the only type that causes STIs; the other two are linked to pneumonia in humans (though C. psittaci is more often found in birds), per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
