It still looks pretty. Maybe not perfect, but perfectly presentable.
I’m mostly concerned about what happened last year, when I decorated it in the morning, we all went outside for lunch and by the time it was pavlova time the whole thing had collapsed/melted into a pile of slush. That wasn’t particularly pretty or presentable.
There’s still half of yesterday’s left and I just went to check on it – some juices around the base but otherwise still standing. And a whiff of passionfruit aroma as I did so So not as much cause for concern as before. (there’s a tiny tiny bit of yolk in the meringue, shhhhh)

Would have called it a Polish taco. Pollaco?
Switch the (wasted) pierogi dough with bread, throw away useless sourcream and you have what we call 'dinner'.
Also, as stated multiple times before, 'kielbasa' means just 'sausage'. As there are hundreds of types of sausage, this gives close to zero information about the dish. So the whole thing can range from delicious all the way to horrible.

@MrL Are you sure you can tell from the picture?

Well, cabbage can be in the dumplings, true. That would make them the best dumplings too.
Absence of pickles and vodka could be explained by them being already consumed. But that's absurd of course, sausage/dumplings go first, then vodka with pickles.

It's not absurd, it's a very common issue with parallel execution. In one thread, you prepare and consume dumplings. In the other thread, you prepare and consume vodka with pickles. It's obvious which one goes first.

Now swap out the dumplings with ice cream and now you get to the real issue with parallel execution as your process vomits out the result of incompatible inputs.
If you want a more dramatic example feel free to swap out the dumplings with Diet Coke and the vodka and pickles with Mentos.

There was this one time that we were out of any sensible chasers. So what do? You can just not drink... ahahahah haha ha. ha. We used what was at hand of course, which in this instance was milk. 3.2% milk. About half way through the bottle, someone stumbled (probably literally) on a jar of pickles. What a tremendous upgrade, right? Wrong. You don't change horses half way through a river. So we didn't switch. Except for one guy, who was sick next two whole days.
Some things everyone must learn by himself.

Interesting, so vodka->dairy is a valid order?
I know that in the case of beer, it is not. There is even an easy-to-remember rule: cow can carry a brewer, but brewer cannot carry a cow!
-

Not sure about "best" but "pretty damn good" is certainly true.

Usually no, but 'valid' in this context is.... circumstantial. In a fishless pond, a crayfish is a fish, as they say.

I believe the standard English translation is "a 2 at 10 is a 10 at 2"

What the hell is this? I'll try to make it.
Dumplings and fried sausage. Very easy to make.
Just remember to boil the dumplings before frying them. I've seen people putting raw dumplings on a frying pan. Stupid foreigners.

I would assume it to be closer to "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king".

I used to buy (back when I could eat them) frozen dumplings for which the recommended cooking technique is to fry them briefly to brown the dough before steaming them. It's possible they are partially cooked before being frozen and packaged.
Stupid foreigners.

That was one of about 3 phrases my dad remembered from high school Spanish. "No te den gato por liebre."

That's how I took it. @izzion's idiomatic translation is better here than @Polygeekery's.

Just stop putting retarded amounts of icing on cupcakes.

In fact, why waste any icing on cupcakes. Just serve the icing directly out of the can.

I've heard claim that 1-1 is the right ratio. This seems silly to me.

As a kid, I used to eat the icing directly out of the canned icing we had.
