Another wise investment by Mozilla

Apparently you haven't heard about about the gas station...

Do you want to use software written by someone that ignorant of societal norms?
This is where I'm supposed to remind everyone that that's all software.

This got to be the stupidest 15K ever spent in the history of the world.
Assuming it was, in fact, spent. Either Mozilla is getting conned by the open source projects overestimating their costs by a factor of ten at least, or someone found a clever way to take the money out of a non-profit...

The competition is strong. Just look at those iPhone sales figures...

Well, as @boomzilla noted:
and also to make improvements so Buildbot works better in the Amazon EC2 cloud.
I don't know where their at with the EC2 integration, but it might be, that the better part of this $15k will be actually spent wisely, while the ctrl+h project was just mentioned for PR purposes.

"improve the Web UI"
Christ, I just hope the UI "designers" at Mozilla won't be trying to "contribute" to this effort...

Where does Mozilla get the kind of money to piss away on stuff like this?
I mean in principle I wouldn't mind my money going towards worthy open source projects. In practice, is not a worthy cause. And neither is the fucking pandering to assholes who are offended by half of the words in a dictionary.

Also, since when is big data evil? Mozilla is crazy.

Their award will be used to remove the term “slave” from all documentation, APIs and tests
Oh fuck, it's spreading.

It's more stable than Chrome with Discourse.

Great idea for a localization request - "Führer" and "Mitläufer".

Yes, but Discurse on mobile is so it hardly matters.

Except for all the countries and regions that still allow slavery?
That doesn't make it OK to use slaves in your code. Unless your program is never leaving that countries it is also illegal.
