That's one way to make sure you're not one of the milkmen fathering those twins...
-
@izzion Simpler way: I'm not a milkman. :P

That's one way to make sure you're not one of the milkmen fathering those twins...Not so certain on that one, either. It wouldn't be the first time a woman got ahold of a man's "milk" and used it to impregnate herself.
-
@anotherusername I was hoping someone would bring up catgirls. 4/10 disappoint.
-
@Yamikuronue said in In other news today...:
@masonwheeler To be fair, you can be certain without testing that the same milkman fertilized both eggs in the case of fraternal twins
Not always...

@PJH said in In other news today...:
To stop thieves, Beijing authorities have installed dispensers equipped with facial recognition software in public restrooms at a busy tourist site, Temple of Heaven Park.
Please, oh please, let "facial recognition" be a euphemism!

Well, I was going to mention that multiple fathers in one litter is common in cats. But there's no point now.

Am I the only one who noticed this, or are you all playing straight-face?

I figured the was at the suggestion that a milkman was involved in the conception.
-
-
@anotherusername
I figured the was the fact that @Yamikuronue deliberately used "can" when she meant "can't"
-
@izzion that wasn't obvious from the post.
-
Run for the hills!
Edit: and then the manslaughters began.

@Zecc
It might be safer to stand in the middle of the roads. Who knows where these cars are going to end up

@RaceProUK Darth Vader came from the planet Vulcan and told Samsung if they didn't make a self-driving car he'd melt their brain?
-
@hungrier I was thinking more "recommended attire for operating a Samsung driverless car", but that works too
-
-
@hungrier but will it go 88mph and be powered by plutonium?
-
@Arantor said in In other news today...:
and be powered by plutonium?
I'm sure mixing plutonium and Samsung is REALLY not a good idea.
-
@TimeBandit Well, duh, I was just going for the subtle nudge to prevent a last minute attempt since at least one person appears not to have gotten the Darth Vader reference ;)

You're talking about the princess ?
-
@TimeBandit That was the only person that posted but the odds of that person being the only person who didn't get it... future not so clear, ask Magic 8 Ball again.

Man, that ball is good.
I'll stick to Thunderbird then

I read about this elsewhere, and despite what many articles are claiming, the charge isn't for laughing at Jeff Sessions, but for refusing to co-operate with a law enforcement officer.

And then the murders began, etc etc
-
@RaceProUK But the flight wasn't overbooked.
-
@Boner And the boobs weren't out.

As for the real story:
Which is basically "Old man decides not to do stuff"

[said a student] “That’s not something you’re supposed to say to a student in a religion class.”

refusing to co-operate with a law enforcement officer.
So literally anything that's not illegal but which the cops are pissy about.

She had to be physically removed from the session. She also started shouting while they were dragging her out. That, not laughing, was why she was convicted. Additionally she was charged and convicted with parading or demonstrating on U.S. Capitol grounds.
And, in the case that you wanted to see her behavior and decide for yourself whether she was out of order, here's a video:

Because we don't like you as a person.

Exploding gas station alert!

Driver looks into fuel tank using a lighter – you’ll never guess what happened next
Yes, yes I will
-
Driver uses lighter to look into fuel tank; you'll never guess what happens next
He gets transported to Narnia?
-
@RaceProUK Sure, let's go with that...
-
@boomzilla what happens next is that we smack the author upside the head for a shitty clickbait title?
-
@Arantor I was amused by it.
-
@boomzilla Even in the not-very-warning-saturated Netherlands, most gas stations have a sign saying "Roken en open vuur verboden."
-
-
@boomzilla Their top tip is partially wrong, though: Diesel is not "highly flammable" :)
It's not even flammable.
-
@Rhywden Must be gasoline looking at the way the hose spits flaming fuel over to the next car.
Mind you, Diesel vapor might still ignite so it's easier to always warn idiots to keep their frickin' lighter away.
-
@JBert No, even the Diesel vapor does not ignite easily - that's why you have to compress the hell out of the Diesel aerosol to get it to ignite.
The flashpoint of gasoline is -43 °C while Diesel's is at least 52 °C.

But it also is just compressed. There's no spark to ignite it. Anyways, the idiot in the video apparently used a lighter.
