the warning that if they want to meet you just say no
You know, I think I had a pen pal maybe once, that lasted for two exchanges.
I wonder what it would be like if someone asked to meet me....
-
@DogsB it does? So far it's been, this MP is on release from jail to be an MP. I mean, that's the punchline and the story, yeah? How does it get better?
Aside from the notion of maybe immediately jailing all MPs?

You would like his/her post

@Tsaukpaetra At this point I basically picture you as Mason Verger (without the sadism), so I imagine it would be quite an experience.

I have no idea who that is, so I watched a video that apparently has him in it.
Got distracted.
Those crotch-tits though. I really have to wonder what the sculptor was going for...

Not jailing them, necessarily, but I like the idea of making them all wear the tracking tags. Just so we'd know if they were actually working or not.

She hasn't been released yet. It's just speculation at the moment.

@PJH fucking hell. Right now any site which asks for a credit card to verify my identity is definitely trying to scam me. After this law passes, I don't get that guarantee anymore.

$1.50/ft²/mon for only mowing twice? I.e. $7,500 for mowing a 10,000 ft² lawn once?
If you ever find customers, let me know. For that price, I'd come over and do it with a golden sickle (personal attention to the lady of the house available to select customers).

Well, to be fair, it was a marketing class, not a realistic-goal-setting class.
I'd say it's a perfect figure for such a presentation!

It's been ages since I read it, so I have no idea what @gribnit is going for (especially if you exclude a major part of his character).
Got distracted.

What? It's a male bust, am I missing something?

I can answer that without high-tech equipment.

There are four unusual spots on the stomach, and at low resolution look like areola. Hence, crotch-tits.

The direction that I suspect consoles are going to take is incremental hardware refreshes every 2-3 years. No more big bang of PS2 to PS3. No more giant changes of architecture for developers to learn and games that are obsolete after 5 years. PlayStation as a service is the direction I think they'll go in. Hardware for 200-300 dollars with the caveat of your mileage may vary and a monthly subscription of $20 for the latest and greatest updates. Not a bad deal to be honest.

Shouldn't that warning, for those of such a nervous disposition, be before the headline as well?
Edit: I LOL'd out loud...
Police say some of the photos sent through social media included a picture of Hillyard's penis, which was identified because he has the words "Fun Size" tattooed on it.

Tattoo on penis leads to arrest in nude photo case
More like "victim leads police to arrest person who she knows", but I guess that doesn't make as an appealing headline.

AFAIK, the photo feature was requested by users that participate in the ROG GPU Tweak beta programme, for streaming or capturing screenies.

I don't know who decided on the stock image, but it is just a static picture, not a live banner or real-time advert.

The overlay isn't active by default.

It can be replaced with a custom image, turned off, or repositioned.

Deposit boxes? That's nothing. The Trump junta does that with children.
there was a delta of approximately 946 children
Delta. Approximately.
Hey, what's 946 children? That's almost an epsilon!

They probably where after jewelry and diamonds. It's not politically correct to mention but in the news clip they talked to some victims one was an obvious chassidic jew. In the background you could make out more of them. The second victim sounded like Apu talking Dutch. Given the location in Antwerp... It smells like diamonds.
-
@JBert
There seems to be no official statement about the amount opened. Bank staff hasn't been allowed into the vault so the bank hasn't given numbers either.
According to banking rules it appears that first a complete vault inventory has to be made before the owners of the affected safety deposit boxes are informed.

Huh. I was going to crack a joke about how they displayed an obvious disposition to work on a car shop, but turns out Chassidic is a real word. TIL.

"Hasidic", usually. Although it sounds as if there was a "ch" as in Scottish "loch" at the beginning if you're being etymologically correct.

Must be a really tiny font to use so many letters.

It's still a bit shy of Fidel's famous revolutionary discourses but I guess if you're used to US TV's attention-deficit soundbite formats it comes pretty close. In any case, Tucker Carlson on FOX News railing against market fundamentalists and the ruling class—that's major climate change in hell!
Speaking of climate change, it's good to hear that this, too, will be good business for some people. Like Merck (more people getting sick), Apple (more disasters where iPhones can double as a flashlight or siren) and Home Depot (more disasters, more shit to fix and more demand for ceiling fans).
