The active population here seems to be slightly biased towards Central Europe, amirite?

EWRONGMOLECULE

The label says alcohol, and @Onyx wanted alcohol at high concentrations; that's what I posted
-
Ethylene glycol is also a common alcohol.

CORRECTMEIFIMWRONGBUTAREYOUASKINGFORACHALLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENGE?
これらは、月のルーンです!
And yet I feel like they'd be less likely to use the word 'rune' than whatever the Japanese word for 'character' is, which I can't remember right now, but is probably something like suuji.

Spaces are for uneducated people.
No, actually.
So are pronunciation symbols.
Yes, you're supposed to use your brain to read.
Context clues.
Well they have bigger problems. They can't even add to 10 at the drive-through.
You want to pay them what? Half the people I know don't make that much.
-
Words are cheap; look, man
I can say what I want to
Deal with it, bro.

You know, some people have reasons to be proud of where they live. Like food, culture, etc. But for some reason we're only known for one historical aspect of our culture that only 5% actively participated in.
You'd think we gassed thousands of innocent people and marched across Europe or something.
You make good brätwurst.

You said I would make good bratwurst.
I'm sure you would like my sausage.
-
I am not sure how to cope. Please send help. Preferably in liquid form with high concentrations of alcohol.

Found one for @cartman82 as well:
-
Yup, that could get close to that 70% mark from above.
Well, not the stuff that gets to the shelves. But homemade refills would do it
-
You said I would make good bratwurst.
How is a moon eating pony cannibalism?
I'm sure you would like my sausage.
Horse meat isn't really my thing.

You're just giving the furries a good argument.
Horse meat isn't really my thing.
Not a horse.
-
Not a horse.
horse ≅ pony
And I assume that horse meat, pony meat, and pegasus meat all taste the same.

Are you sure that's Swampy? I'd have guessed this one:
Not really. IIRC, he's somewhere in BC, which is a bit closer to me than I'd like; I'd prefer that he be somewhere in the far reaches of NWT, preferably far from an Internet connection.
-
Wait, we let Canadians in!?
-
I'm more annoyed that I was completely overshot. Seriously, I'd be on the map if the northernmost people were at the top of the image. Unless I just can't see the river, which could be the case.
-
Unless I just can't see the river
Which river? No rivers are really visible at that scale. That view covers more area than you might realize. The same view with a map instead of satellite image:
-
Ah, indeed, I was thinking of the Columbia River, which is, in fact, entirely covered in red balloons, one of which is presumably mine.
The massive group there makes rather a lot of sense.
-
-
Columbia River, which is, in fact, entirely covered in red balloons
No it isn't.
See? There are a couple slivers peeking out around the base of the one that looks to be near Boardman, OR. I'm almost surprised to see a few pins near the Tri-Cities (in Washington). I wonder if my BIL is on here somewhere …
-
There are a couple slivers peeking out
While it is true there are parts of the Columbia River that are not covered by the red balloons, it is also true that the river is not actually visible in the image; it is considerably less than a single pixel in width at that scale.
-
True, but @Magus was asserting that the red pins (or "balloons" as he calls them) were completely covering the river. I was merely striving to indicate the fallacy in his assertion. I was not attempting to indicate whether the river had any level of actual visibility.
I suppose if you really wanted to be precise, you would also point out that there is a length of the river which is fully obscured by layered shadows cast by the pins, as opposed to the pins themselves being the graphical obstructions. Further, there is a portion of the river along the Washington-Oregon which just wasn't rendered, likely due to some error when blending the multiple layered pin shadows.
-
Are there 99?
I certainly thought it, but sadly no. Also, I prefer Goldfinger's version.(or "balloons" as he calls them)
It's odd that they went from pushpins to those really long sewing pins. That can't be good for the planet.
-
The OP didn't specify, but in our bias towards Central Europe, are we pro or con? I'm leaning towards "con" because they use funny looking letters, but I'm open to persuasion.
-
They're also always coming over here and stealing our jobs.
-
Well, if you'd just have put in more automated checkouts at your stores, maybe there wouldn't have been jobs for them to steal and you'd have prevented the whole problem.
-
A solution so simple I wonder why no one's thought of it before!
-
-
I no steal your job. Your country too far. No money for ticket.

I was prohibited from using funny characters, so I had to revert to something.
Besides, I don't think it can feel any more violated after what native speakers did to it.
-
Here Self-Check out mostly works as follows:
- Enter Store
- Get a portable scanner thingy
- Take something from shelf
- Scan barcode
- Put stuff in card, bag, pants, wherever you like within normal decency limits
- For fresh produce: put it on scale and get a barcoded sticker or scan the
- Go Self Scan check out (or whatever line is faster, the self scan doesn't have a belt)
- Hand over the scanner
- To handle theft/mistakes "random" checks are done where a certain number of items (full or partial shopping cart) are re-scanned
- Checks are "random" because if your previous check didn't match up your chances of having subsequent checks increases.
- Have total calculated, sales/reductions are done
- Pay any way you like
Only down side is people who didn't do the scanning take the Self Scan lanes. Generally I loudly complain to my partner or anybody behind me in the line how annoying it is that the Self Scan lane is hold up.

With native speakers it's consensual!
