I can't tell if that's advising me to drink Stroh's or not.
Do you need advertisement to do that?
No. In fact it is impossible to not drink Stroh's or not regardless of the advertisement.

I'd be ready to kiss you for a solo like that. Too bad you're sitting so far away. I am waiting for you in my office tomorrow, 10 o'clock in the morning

This is why the English language needs more parentheses.

@Carnage I call fake. That is not a valid backgammon position.

But did you account for sweeping the square leg past long on?

@topspin That depends very much on where you live. If you live where it's hot and humid (or not humid and super-hot, like Arizona), that's true. If you live in a cool, rainy climate, like Seattle, summer is the only time that isn't miserable.
-
@HardwareGeek that’s why I used to like it. But summer is now also miserable.
-
@topspin said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:
Swedish summers are pretty nice, unless it's one of those with nothing but rain.
-
@topspin Some of us prefer seeing the summer outfits of others compared to the winter outfits.

Unfortunately, in my experience, those most prone to wear summer outfits one would like to see others in are those who should never wear such outfits because they are not the type that people want to see in such outfits.

@Benjamin-Hall I have thought in the past that the difference between a traditional culture and a hedonistic culture is that in a traditional culture it would be worse for a young attractive woman to show off skin than for an old unattractive woman to do so, whereas in a hedonistic culture it is the opposite.
But to address what you actually said, if I don't want to look at someone, I simply won't look at them. I don't see the problem with them wearing what they want.
But I'm getting off-topic here. :)

I dunno, you're being pretty funny trying to claim that men can simply not look at boobies

Boobies good. Floppies in garb designed for perkies... Not so much.
And to be clear, I'm exactly the sort of person who looks best and most acceptable in winter clothing.

And he's trying to take them away (or at least the ones he doesn't like).

Hilarious story of the navy stealing locomotives full of beer and sake during the Korean war.

Some background if you haven't watched this channel before, the guy with the long hair is Hyce (real name Mark Huber), the owner of the channel. He and
I thinkat least one of the others work at the Colorado Railroad Museum. They all know many times more about railroading than you or I ever will (even if you're really into trains), especially narrow-gauge railroading in the Rocky Mountains, and Leighton is an endless source of obscure knowledge about trains and other things from just about anywhere.Every so often, they make a video called "3/4 of an Idiot", because the three of them together don't add up to a complete idiot, and the bring in a guest in a search for someone to round out their idiocy. These videos take the form of some sort of game involving railroad trivia. And they throw "mystery citrus" (limes) at whoever makes a bad pun.

The real problem is fitting the duvet (2m00 by 2m20) in its cover.
TIL duvet == comforter.
We solved that problem by leaving it on the bed year-round. They also have special bags you can fit a vacuum nozzle in.
